Thanksgiving Week Trip

Cast includes me, Disney Nut 48 and teen DSs. Dad stayed home.
We were on the dining plan.

Cinderella's Royal Table

Since the new pre fixe Cindy's dinner is looming, I will make this really short. The food was good, the service was solicitous and self-serving. Our waitress unashamedly padded the bill in order to get the higher tip. My reaction was not good. As we left, I commented on my not paying enough attention to what she offered, the castle mugs, an extra serving of vegetables that was so salty they were inedible and an extra side of mashed potatoes. She was indignant that I mentioned it. I obviously did not leave her an extra tip which is something I routinely did for other servers who provided good service.

We had the pork tenderloin which was moist and the accompanying "upscale" macoroni and cheese was good also. The Caesar salads we started with were good but not spectacular. Dessert of berries and sorbet was light and tasty since I was very full. Chocolate cake and key lime brulee were also good.

The atmosphere is magical. It's the whole castle thing. We sat at a window that overlooked the carousel in Fantasyland. How could you go wrong?

As the new set-up and prices go into effect, I am happy we have already experienced castle dining. It will no longer be a dining choice for us.
