Cindy's Castle For Wishes??

When we were in Disney for a short weekend trip back in January, DBF and I made a PS for Cindy's Castle for the day that we arrive for our March vacation. The CM noted on our PS that we wanted a window seat for Wishes, and said that if we get there a little earlier than our PS time (9:15pm), that we should be able to wait for a table to open up by the window to view the fireworks (10pm) while we eat! This sounded amazing to us, so we booked right there! (And BTW, when you book at the castle, they don't take your credit card info or anything! ) Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had made a PS in hopes of watching the fireworks while eating at the castle and how it worked out. Did you get a window table? How early were you there? Just wondering.. I may be a little anal, but I'm trying to make this vacation the best ever! TIA

Eating at Cindy's our first full day at WDW is a family tradition for us. We have always booked so some part of our meal is during the fireworks. They dim the lights in the restaurant and most tables have a good view as the windows are very large. Sure, requesting a window table would be great, but most will give you an unforgettable experience.

we had a crt window 2 person table right in the middle of the windows for the magic kingdom fireworks on our march 2003 trip. we made a note on our ps that we wanted a firework seating & it just worked out for us. we've also gone other times & even from other tables in the main lower dining area you get the ohhh effect during the fireworks. it was amazing, like bard721 said they dim the lights, tap into the firework music score & you see most of the fireworks from your seat. we normally always arrive 5-10mins early, we like to get a picture in the lobby/waiting area of the castle.
