We celebrated dd's 3rd bday at Cindy's breakfast on Wed. This was great! It takes alot to impress my dad, and he liked it so much that he asked about making more reservations for another breakfast there. He mentioned it a few times.

OK on to our story... we go into the downstairs hall, Fairy Godmother is on the throne for pics and autographs. DD3 did great with her, ds4 wanted nothing to do with her at this point. This was our first morning at WDW and I think he was overwhelmed. When your table is ready, they announce "noble ______ family, your table is ready". They call men - m'lord (my dad ate that up, he is so "old country"), women- m'lady, girls -princess and boys- prince. As you go up the stairs, there is a stained glass window with a picture of Cinderella. I can see why it is so hard to get reservations, the restaurant is very small.

Before I forget, this place is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and there is a special restroom for folks in wheelchairs and their escorts.

We sat on the inside of the room so I can't comment on the view from the windows. They request that children sit on the outside of the table so the characters can interact with them better.

When we arrived at the table, there was Mickey confetti. Cute stuff. There were little bowls of fresh fruit and a yogurt dipping sauce. Baskets with muffins and croissants. The food is all you can eat. It is not family style, each person gets their own plate with everything on it. There are scrambled eggs (hot and fluffy, not at all rubbery), really good hash browns, that yummy cream cheese stuffed french toast with berry sauce, and bacon & sausage. DS got french toast sticks, eggs and bacon. DD's meal was free since she wasn't 3 yet, so she got french toast sticks. We were all very happy with the food and would definitely eat there again. They brought dd a cupcake with candle, I believe they sang happy birthday? I don't remember. She also received a magical moment certificate.

The princesses started coming around pretty much immediately after we got our food so we didn't get to eat it while it was hot, lol. But they just kept coming, and it was nice that we were able to move right onto the rest of the park when we were done eating, rather than sit and wait for them to reach our table.

We saw Cinderella, Belle, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Fairy Godmother again. Each looked realistic, especially Belle and Snow White. Snow White had an amazing smile, her whole face lit up while talking with the kids. When she gave her autograph, she kissed the paper and left a lip print. :D Mary Poppins did the best interacting with them. She carried on a conversation with them. When she saw ds wearing a Pooh shirt, she asked if they had ridden the Poo ride yet. He told her that he colored a picture for Tigger & Pooh. I felt like crawling under the table b/c we didn't have a picture for her. We didn't expect to see Mary Poppins.

Cinderella is my dd's all-time favorite. She was so happy to see her. Both my kids had colored a picture for her. She was really sweet. She acted like this was the best thing anyone had ever done for her. Even after she left the table, a few minutes later she was getting ready to leave the room, she made sure to wave the papers to the kids so they could see she was taking the pictures with her.

As an added bonus, we went on the carousel immediately after this. As we were leaving the ride, the CM pointed out to dd that Cinderella was waving outside the castle from an upper floor, so dd enjoyed waving to her. :)

Sounds wonderful.. thanks for sharing. We'll be dining with the Princess on 4/29 and I can't wait.

Don't ya love the pre-plated breakfast??? After a while one can get 'buffet-ed' out and this is a welcome treat.

So glad you enjoyed it, and were lucky enough to get in.

Jenjie,
Your story had me in tears. I am taking my 5 year old niece and 2 year old nephew for their first trip to WDW in May. She is a Cindy fanatic and I can't wait to see her face when she sees Cinderella for the first time.
I have to start calling in for the Cinderella's Bfst on 3-19, exactly 60 days from the first day of our trip. We are staying a week so I have a few days to play around with.
I have read that you call the number at exactly 7 am, hit 1 right away and tell the CM, bfst for 8 May 18th. But now I hear they changed the routine.
Has anyone called and gotten ressies another way? I am going to do a practice run tomorrow morning just to make sure but I know I can get help on the DIS boards. Peggie

I'm glad you enjoyed my story, I'm sure your experience will be just as magical. My only advice is to try calling first at 6:55. I don't know if I just got lucky but my call was answered immediately. I was actually off the phone by 7:00, and yet somehow CM Nani made me feel like I was the only guest that mattered. I hope you get in!

Make sure you plan to see Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. It takes place in front of the castle. The showtimes are posted on a paper you can pick up with your park map near the park entrance. I hadn't heard alot about this show but it is really good. It features Cinderella, Snow White, Belle and their princes, plus Fiary Godmother & the girl mice, and Mickey & the gang. The villains all make an appearance, with their counterparts coming to defeat them - Peter Pan & Hook, Mulan & whoever the villain is in her movie, Jafar & Genie... it's really well-done. And many of the characters (not the princesses) stick around afterwards for pictures and autographs.

Have they replaced the apple topping with berry topping on the cheese danish? Actually, I prefer it without any topping.

This is the only time I've been there, and it was berry when we were there. I don't know if they rotate toppings or not.

Hi... I was going to ask about the topping too... it was apple cinnamon when I was there... and delicious.

>>^..^<<

My hope is to get into Cindy's sometime, but until then thanks for sharing your wonderful review with the rest of us!

Thanks for the positive review!:Pinkbounc

Allot of the reviews regarding the food have been negative so I'm relieved to hear something positive.

I have reservations for Easter week. Instead of hitting 1, I hit the 0 key. Read the thread at the top of the posts for great instructions on how to get PS's.

Jenjie, I am so excited we have 9:00 reservation on March 30th
and my 4 year old daughter can't wait. Now my six year old son...well that is a different story!! I was in tears as I read the story. I am sure I will go through as least a roll of film there. I do have a question for you- How easy was it to get through the gates? I am not sure how early they will let us in. It is an EE day and we at staying off-site, but I want to know how long it took to get in and walk to the castle? Is there a separate line for PS reservations? I don't want to be late!!!!!!! This is our first trip, so I am clueless:confused: Thank-you, Tammi

Is it alright to videotape inside the castle? Do the princesses pose for pictures?

What a great story! I had written CRT out of the trip figuring my daughter will only be a year old and my son will be 6 and not into princesses as he has already reminded me, BUT your story was so magical I want to go just for myself. I know my parents won't mind and my husband will go anywhere there is food. I may just go for it, but I have awhile yet. Thanks for the great review!!

We were at CRT on Saturday. When we checked in they asked the childrens ages. I told them my youngest daughter would be 4 in a couple of days. Today is her birthday. They brought her a little chocolate cake with white frosting and Mickey head shaped sprinkles and and 1 burning candle. It was about 5" in diameter and we cut it in half for my daughters to share. Cake with breakfast. Oh well it's vacation.

They also gave her a Birthday celebration certificate. The princesses that came by after she got the cert signed it as well as their books. The girls loved it and the best thing was we finished right at 9 o clock so we left CRT and beat the crowd to Tomorrowland.

Tammi our PS was for 9:50 so I can't help with early PS. I've heard it's really easy though?

We had intended to arrive at park opening and take our time. Unforeseen circumstances led to us arriving at the castle with only a few minutes to spare. We ended up ditching my parents at the front gate and racing down Main Street to put our names in at PS time. They were really good about it at the castle, too. Just asked us to let them know when the rest of our party arrived, and we would be seated after that. My parents got there a few minutes later, we waited long enough for a picture with Fairy Godmother, then it was our turn.

BTW "racing down Main Street" is not as easy as it sounds. I didn't notice this when we were there before but there is alot of entertainment on Main Street. It seems that no matter what time of day you arrive, there is some excitement going on to greet you. They had singer/dancers coming down Main Street with the trolley, and we saw all kinds of characters signing autographs - Minnie, Rafiki, Timon, Pinnochio, Robin Hood and I think one or two more. It's a great way to start your time at the park but unfortunately each time we were in too much of a hurry to stick around and enjoy it.

Thanks Jen

:D

My parents will also be with us, so if it is crowed at the gate we can leave our backpacks with them and run to check in. My hubby is a runner, so that may be his job the day:p

I am looking forward to it. Should I bring Kleenex? I am an emotional person (don't know why). I cried when we went and seen Disney on Ice Princess Classic (so did my dad).

Tammi
