Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Of course, I think I know the answer - any time is good time :)

But, today is 90 days out from the day we're planning to be at MK (our week-long stay). Got up at 5:30 CST and waited for 6 AM. Started dialing before that and was on hold for 12 minutes. I got a 9:45 AM at CRT for party of 4.

First time calling about CRT. Not too bad, I hope.

Thanks for sending that luck my way. I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10:20 Nov 29 party of 4!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited

Now all I'm waiting for is Saturday my TA is calling for Wonderland Tea Party for DD's b-day on 12-2.

:wizard: Sending my great luck you way!! I was very lucky. I had the exact same experience as you though. I got lucky on my 90th day of the day I wanted to eat...no luck with the 90th day of my check in day.

I called starting right at 6:58 and hit redial till the message was that they were open. Then when she said if you are dining...I hit 1 and then 1 again and got right to a person. Good luck!

:cool1: That's great! Congrats!

Too funny! I am also calling Saturday for Wonderland Tea Party for 12/2 for my 2 DDs!!! Small World! My oldest is getting older so she wants to do it again before she's too old for it...I think the oldest is 10 and she is 9.

Maybe our DDs will see each other! ;)

It's a small world :wave2: I've heard this isn't too hard to get but I'm still a bit nervous since this is more important to me & DD then CRT. What are you doing during the party? We were going to go to GF cafe and have the fondue but now our CP package is that night with an early dinner so I think I'll send H & DS to go decorate the room and I'll hang in the lobby with a book. Good luck to both of us :wizard:

No, it's not too difficult to get until the trip is closer...

We usually just walk around the GF and get a drink. It's only an hour so it just doesn't seem like enough time to do anything.

That is the day we leave...heading to the airport by 4:30p - 5:00p so I thought it would be a good send off for the girls.

Good luck!

  YEAH!!!!!

I got it for a late lunch on 12/4 - not the day I wanted - but at least the little princess: princess princess: will not be left out. Now - I have to get up again on Sat. to try to get the day we really want. We will be camping so I have to sneak out of the cabin & use my cell phone - the things we do for our kids :goodvibes

I would just like to thank the advice I got on this thread because I was able to get breakfast at the Castle for December 7th on Monday morning. I think I got it around 7:20 am for those trying. Good luck to all.

Do you guys think you get through to an agent faster with Disney's 800# or using their published non-800#?

I was using the 800# and was on hold for like 12 minutes this morning.

I called the 1-407-wdw-dine number.I started calling at 6:57 am and kept redialing and at exactly 700 the phone message turned over and I pushed 1, 1 and got a CM instantly, got CRT for 8 :20 Nov 30th, party of ten :cheer2: :cheer2: .......hope we can get to wake up Tink after breakfast......My husband thinks I am more excited than the kids. I think so too......I cant wait :cool1: :cool1:

If anyone plans on cancelling a breakfast reservation for Mon. Oct. 10 or Thurs. Oct. 13 could you please let me know? My party is only a party of 3! Any time is fine! Thanks so much!!!!

37 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

WHOOo hoooo.. I got right in and got ressies..for CRT for NOV 29th(my dd b-day) at 8:10am. Is that way too early....??...We're morning people so it's not a problem for us.....but I was thinking...that the park probably doesn't open yet does it?

Ok maybe I'm too eager, or just dumb, or blind or even all of the above, But i keep reading that there is a page somewhere with all this info on the how to but I have yet 2 c it. Maybe it's cause this thread is a million pages long (exaggeration) but would someone be nice enough to post me a link or something? The one on the first post didn't work for me and I'm getting frustrated. My 90 days out will be on Monday morning? Will they be open on Labor day 2 take my rsvp? PlEaSe help????? :teeth:

Here is the process I recommend:

1) Determine the date that you can make your Cindy's reservation. Go to the DIS Priority Seating calculator and verify the earliest calling date for the dates that you can attend (90 days prior). Realize that there is a VERY good chance that you will be unsuccessful if you only try once. So plan on getting a PS for early in your trip and if you get it, GREAT. If you don't, you can still try the next morning.

2) Have your credit card ready. Disney now requires a credit card guarantee of $10 per adult and $5 per child. The deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.

3) You should only make reservations using the (407) 939-3463 number. The (800) numbers used for Annual Passholders and other services sometimes have delays (as much as 12 seconds) that will seriously hinder your ability to get a Cindy's PS.

4) Syncronize your clock. Go to the official U.S. time clock for great results. I have DSL at home, so I leave the official U.S. clock up on my screen while calling.

5) Get up and 'at 'em! Begin calling at about 6:58am Eastern time. Plan on calling 10-15 times during this two minute period. The range seems to be picking up between 6:58:30am and 6:59:30am. Some people have successfully tried and used multiple phones to get through.

Please note that there are two possible greetings:
a) Thank you for calling Walt Disney World. Our office is closed... (hang up immediately as soon as you hear the words "Our office" and hit redial immediately).
or
b) Thank you for calling Disney dining. At this time, we are experiencing very high call volume. If you have already arrived for your Magical Walt Disney World Vacation, you may visit any resort or theme park Guest Services location, or the podium at any Walt Disney World restaurant to make your dining Priority Seating arrangements. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Once you hear option b, you're in and on hold! Do NOT hang up or you may lose any chance of a ressie! Please note that you cannot select any options while this message is being read. You must wait until the word "understanding" is completed.

After this passage is read (i.e. immediately after the word "understanding" is read), immediately hit the number "1" key twice on your phone.

Here are the options that you are skipping:
If you are calling to make a Priority Seating for Victoria and Alberts at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, please press 2. If not, press 1.

If you are calling from the Orlando area, or to make a reservation for within the next seven days, please press 1. If you are calling to make a reservation for your upcoming trip, press 2.

I don't recommend that you select #2 in the second option because if you select it, you will then be asked to give additional information (i.e. how long it has been since you last visited WDW, how many times you have been to WDW in the past four years, your telephone and/or reservation #). You don't have time for these options, so select #1 as directed above to skip them. After hitting the number "1" key twice on your phone pad as described above, the following line will be read:

Thank you for your time and patience. All of our representatives are currently assisting other guests. We look forward to speaking with you momentarily.

Again, do NOT hang up. Wait for the next available CM. You are almost there! Cross your fingers AND toes!

6) Upon speaking to a "live person", interrupt the CM and blurt out "I need Cindy's, for **insert date**, for x people, any available time". The CRO rep will understand your temporary rudeness, and you'll make up for it later with endless amounts of gratitude... Don't try and pick a specific time. Any delays will seriously hinder your ability to get a PS.

7) Be sure to write down your time and PS #. If your PS is before the park opening, you'll have to present your PS# to get into the park.

Please note that if you can't get a PS for Cinderella's Royal Table, another excellent character breakfast is the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot!

Have any editorial suggestion? Please share!

Good luck to you all!
I want to add that the 1900 Park Fare dinner buffet is excellent too! Cinderpals

Thank YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!! I missed out on this last year cause I didn't know it was such a huge process but NOW I'm armed and ready!!!!

I don't think they EVER close. :) If you get through, you could also widen your chances of getting a reservation by asking for any time, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We have lunch reservations on our day. I heard an announcement that breakfast was probably filled while I waited on hold for 20 minutes. Fortunately lunch is what I wanted. :Pinkbounc

thanks for the help. I was able to get lunch on 12/01 at noon and I called right at 0700 and got through. dd will be so excited

Dh & I were both on hold this morning, he got right through within a minute. We got lunch for 12/9. We're going to call Monday because we really wanted breakfast for 12/3. But at least we got something!!! :cool1:

And with that, I'm going back to bed. It's 4:09 here. LOL

I called this morning and got in for 12/2 at 8:10, I really wanted 12/1. When should I call to check for cancellations? Should I be doing that now or closer to the trip?
