Has anyone else tried the tips link on the first page of this thread and not ave it work? It took me to an empty archive page with no info???

I think I get the basic gist of this from reading the last few pages- call either the 407 or 800 number about 3 minutes before 7:00 EST, press "1" and then "1" (do you have to wait for any particular prompts?) and hope you don't get put on hold. Anything I'm missing? I'll be starting to call next week for our trip starting 12/12 for a group of 4. I've never done this breakfast before, but my friend is super excited about eating in the castle for her first trip so I told her I'd try to figure this all out.

I just got it. It is 7:08 and I just got off the phone. I hit redail at 6:59-47 and got in. I waited for just the first word of each of the prompts then pressed 1 - 2 - my 10 digit phone number - then 1 -2 again. I was on hold for about 30 seconds.

I am a party of seven and she said she didn't have anything for a party of seven but did have two tables of four - I said "fine" right away, I just wanted her to grab it on the computer and she started telling my it wasn't guarunteed that we could sit together - I just kept saying "That's fine, fine".

So by asking for the earliest seating, I got 9:40! Certainly not my first choice, but I am happy anyway. I will get to bring my Mom to the castle on the last day of our vacation - We never would have been able to do this when I was a kid, so I am thrilled to do it for her and with her now. I had visions of strolling up Main Street, to a near empty park for an 8:00 seating, but I'll take what I can get!

Just to help others, I think where I went wrong yesterday was calling too early. I takes my phone about 15 seconds to get to the recording and I called at 6:59-45. By waiting those extra two seconds, the phone picked up at 7:00-02 (using the atomic clock and the official US clock).

I got it too! My experience was very similar to Tigerlilly's mom. I wasn't put on hold at all this time. She picked up right away. Good luck everybody!

Congrats Dbal and everyone else who got in! Has anyone listened to the prompts all the way through? I'm starting to think I got my PS yesterday by not pressing what I was supposed to. I know I did "1" and then I think I did "1" again. I never got the part asking for my home phone number, how many times I've been to WDW, etc. Until I read today's posts, I assumed that that part of the recording was taken off because of the upgrades. Just curious - I have one last PS to call for tomorrow a.m.

I think that I pressed 1 right away and then they said something about if you are currently in WDW or are making ps for today or in the next few days (paraphrasing) to press 1. Then everyone else press 2. Then they asked for your 10 digit phone #.

Today after that, someone immediately picked up. But yesterday- They asked me to enter my phone # at 2 different prompts. Then there was something about how many times you visited in the last 4 years. It was strange and really frustrating. - Almost like a big stall tactic.

I wasn't sure if this was the standard spiel and I was to ignore it and just press 1 and 1 or if it was something new. So.. I panicked and listened to it all.

Just called at 6:00am cdt and got thru around 6:02 I did follow the prompts

PRESS 1 FOR SAME DAY OR CALLING FROM ORLANDO
ENTER PHONE NUMBER OR RESERVATION NUMBER
HAVE YOU VISITED DISNEY BEFORE 1
MORE THAN 4 SINCE 1998 PRESS 1
LESS PRESS 2

I dont know how it happed but I quess it was pixie dust but was able to get a 8:10 seating for four in the immediate family didnt want to make ressies for everyone else in ourt party for so early
one question though if you want to add one is it a problem if you have a seating time we have a little one in a high chair but would a adult be a problem

That's great Mikesluss, thats funny, All I did was hit 1 & 1 and got through....

In regards to adding an extra adult, I think you will have a hard time...I think the tables are for 4...I'm sure that all the tables are full already (7:27). I would try calling back though...With it being a Sunday, you might have some luck....

I got my PS for CRT for Dec 11th @ 8.15 (party of six)

I am very happy!

I pressed 1 & 1 and got straight through on 407 WDW DINE.

Yesterday, I was asked all the q's previous posters have mentioned (phone number, number of visits to WDW etc) but none of that today. I was then on hold for 20 mins before I gave up (figured all the PS's would have gone by then).

If you get asked for your rez # or phone # just press # with no numbers. It might say "Oh I didn't quite get that, let's try again"and just press # again. It will then stop asking you. You'll get into the queue quicker that way.

I know I should be happy with the PS to Cindy's that I was so lucky to get this morning for Dec 11th. Don't get me wrong,I am beyond excited.
However, I am going to wake up again tomorrow morning and try again.... My 1st choice is to go on Dec 12th... I know he is joking but my husband says I'm being greedy, that I should just be happy and lucky that I even got Cindy's..but we aren't planning on going to MK on the 11th... We had planned on MK on the 12th. It would just make it easier if we could go then

So I will get up again and start calling first thing in the morning....

Get up, and keep trying. I made it in 7 out of 10 tens days trying.
I got the days i wanted and will cancel the others.

I called again this morning for 12/12 and I got 8:10.... This day was the first choice.... We will be going to MK for the day....So it works out great.....

I will be cancelling my Cindy's PS for 12/11 8:10..... If anyone is interested let me know....

This was posted in another thread, and I followed the directions this morning to much success! Good luck!

"Start calling at 6:58 to 6:59 and keep hitting redial. you will hear one of 2 messages:
1. Thank you for calling WDW our office is closed...
2. Thank you for calling WDW (usually a pause here) we are glad you called . . .
As soon as you hear our office hange up and redial as fast as possible and if you hear were glad then you have 2 options
1. For Victoria and Alberts hit 2, you want to hit 1 here don't even wait for the prompt to finish
2. To make a PS for .... hit 1 here also as soon as they say "to make"
This will bypass the prompts to enter reservation # or phone #.
***I called all last week and I found if I hit one before the next prompt started it automatically asked me for my phone # this will delay you getting in.
For the last 2 days I have gotten someone right away right around 6:59 and 45 sec.
This morning I was using my cell and home phone and I got right thru on one phone while the other phone said the office was closed. So timing is crucial. Be flexible with your days and try often until you can get what you want. I got CRT for a different day I wanted but I tried for 7 days and only got thru 2x. Good luck."

I did the same thing that rcyannacci did on Sunday & Monday and got through both days & got 8:10 PS...

Thanks for the instructions!! What telephone number did you try? I have 2 different numbers and I have heard that people get through both. I am going to do my best on the 25th to get through-wish me luck!!
