For anyone that got thru today with a PS-- Please I need some help.. Which # did you dial? 407 or 800? Did the prompts change as far as the 1 and 1 thing? They kept asking for my phone # and other silly ?s before I finally was put on hold.
How long did everyone wait before they got thru? I had 2 phones call the 407 # and we hung up after an hour. Can't wait to see those bills.

Congrats to everyone that got it! Any tips would be appreciated. I will be trying again tomorrow and Sat. too! Thanks.

Well Guess what this great dad did today.. YEAH THAT IS RIGHT I

OVERSLEPT. What a great dad I am. So I tried to call at 6:01 (7:01 Eastern Time) and "ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY" and then at 7:08 I got in and sat on hold for 30 min till I got to work (and I knew I was not getting in today, I just had to try for ABBYMOUSE) So I guess I will try tomorrow!

Dbal - I think the prompts did change - I called at 6:57 this a.m. After hanging up and redialing a few times, a recording came on saying there was unusually high call volume (the same recording I've heard every other morning this week). After the recording the menu came on, but I didn't listen to it - I pushed 1 and then 1 again and was immediately put on hold with the Disney music. I wasn't asked for my home phone number or reservation. When my call when right into "hold" I was sure I'd messed up and that if someone ever picked up they were going to tell me I was on the wrong number or something!!! At 9:07 a CM picked up and .... I got CRT for the 9th at 8:15!!! I don't know whether it was all the pixie dust or the new phone upgrade, but my luck certainly changed this morning. Don't forget everyone, that today was the day to call for both the 8th and the 9th.

Personally I had great luck with the 800 numbers. I got through right away every time. The only problem now is that with the long message about the hurricane it might not work out so well. But I would keep trying. Use the 800 number to call every day to see if someone has cancelled. I'm sure there are people with multiple reservations that will cancel after they finalize their plans.

I just called Disney Dining to ask about CRT cancellations. They had a PS for 2 on 12/7. However, we need 3 as it is for DD and DH wants to be there as well.

It won't help us, but maybe it will help one of you.

Hey! Just wanted to let everyone know that I ended up calling back from a friends house (she has free long distance!) and was able to get a PS for 4 for the Princess Storybook Breakfast on 12/7. Actually my last choice of days since we are going to the MVMCP that evening! Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, right? We'll just head back to the hotel for a midafternoon rest that day. I'll call back from time to time to try for CRT though.. maybe I'll get lucky. At least they'll have breakfast with some princesses.. even if it isn't in the castle.

Hollyjoy- yeah for you! I'm glad you got a cancellation! Keep trying and you may get CRT or a better day for PSB. Actually, we'll be at PSB on the 7th at 10:20 and are doing MVMCP that night too. What time is your ps? We plan to sleep in a little and go to the breakfast, take a slow few hours at Epcot, and head over to MK for Crystal Palace at 4:20 before the party. I figured if we did a park it would be better to do Epcot- it doesn't get my children overly stimulated like the others. I hope it will be a nice slow day.

Just wanted to add...
The new system upgrade is really making it tough on the CM's. I actually got through this morning, didn't even want CRT, wanted CP for the VMMCP 12/9, and my CM cried too. She didn't know if I could make 2 separate reservations for the same night and call back later (my party has 11 people in it and the later time which I preferred had us separated). She came back on after a while, sniffling, saying she couldn't find anyone to help and went ahead and booked both for me.

Weird. Never thought I'd have a CM cry. Then I read that other post, and wonder how much stress those poor folks are under. I'm sure they get their shard of disappointed callers. Sad.

Our PS for the Storybook Breakfast is for 8:30am.... I don't even want to think about how early we'll have to get up to make it! LOL We're eating at LTT at 5:20 before the MVMCP.

Maybe one of their co-workers died or something and they were very upset for other reasons. It's weird that two of them would be crying ....

Yeah, or maybe she had a really nasty caller before talking to you, and was afraid you'd lay into her as well.. you just never know.

This has been my experience.

2-3 people using 4-6 phones starting at 6:58 on 4 of the last 5 days

When we would get through, it was often after we were cut off, and we called back, even though the other phones were still playing music.

The 800 number seemed to work better.

Only today were we able to book CRT (Yeah! but I am questioning my sanity and the time we spent ) and it was on the 800 number that I called from my cell while the other two land lines were still playing music. Interestingly, my cotraveler mom got through at about the same time on the 407 number (after being on hold from 7 to ~7:15) and at that time, she was able to PS seats also. Not thinking, we turned those in right away. We joked later that we should sell them on e-bay! No flaming--JUST KIDDING! If I had been thinking I would have kept them and posted them here.

The system seems very strange and random--I don't like it!

At what time of the day do people usually cancel? All times or what? A friend of mine used to work for the central Disney number, and said that they'd have hundreds of CM's on the phones, with even more calls coming in! How in the world would we be able to organize a trade?

Hollyjoy, I just arranged a trade with another diser this week. I just told her what time I was calling. It took me about 10 minutes to get it all taken care of. She said she had to call back a couple of times, but it worked she got her ressie!!!

After several days of trying and much frustration, we too got CRT this morning for 12/8 (9am). I made my CM laugh as I was so giddy over it!

For the past 5 days I have been trying with no luck (plus the system was down yesterday)-plus I gave my mom & sister all of the information, so they were trying too with no luck. It was weird today though-I had a very confident feeling that I would be able to get thru.

This morning, all 3 of us tried-I used the 407#, so did my mom, & my sister used the 800#. I called a few times starting around 6:58-when it finally went thru, I put in the #1, then the phone started ringing and someone picked up (??). They picked up at 7:01am. When I called my mom, then my sister to tell them I had the PS, they both said "good, because we're still on hold!"
