Now I feel terrible about whining. I guess I should just be glad I got through. Since I got through after 1 hr. 8 minutes, I'm guessing they are shorthanded or something, as I have always seen posts that say they called and & at 7:03 a CM picked up and told them all the Cindy's ps were taken.

The waits are so long because of this crazy hurricane! Hopefully all of you can get a ressie for some time during your stay!

I have a friend who has been on hold all morning trying to get her whole trip rearranged, she was supposed to go to disney this weekend for her 7 for 5, they are giving her a hard time and not wanting to let her switch to next week at the same price! Basically wont honor the 7 for 5 deal!!!

My mom actually got through this morning, which is a miracle for sure. I was on hold for 45 minutes, then she called and said she booked it! I couldn't believe it! I'm thrilled. I called back a few times to make other ressies, and they're not even answering. I think the hurricaine is really messing things up! I hope I can book PS for dinner before the VMCP. We'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for the 800#!

I decided to try again just to see. I got a lady that said the Orlando Reservation office is not taking calls yet and she needed to take my name and number and reservation request. She said she was a Disney Employee in the Kansas City office.

I thought this was strange but I gave her my number and she said someone would call back today.

I decided to call back 1 more time just to see and I got through without any wait at all and the CM informed me that everything was booked for the 5th.

I can't wait for my callback just to see what they will say.

I will also try again tomorrow but I have to work so I can only hold for 30 minutes. Hope I get lucky!

I was on hold forever this morning and finally hung up. I called the 800 number and they said that they will not have someone to take advance PS until tomorrow after 10 am. I then called 1 407 number and got right thru with no message saying they are busy and call back so i hit the #2 choice to make advance PS and I got someone right away and got the PS i wanted (not CRT but CP on Dec 5).

Do you know if your mom used the 800# or the 407#.

What's with the prompts? I call tomorrow for my 90 day booking. I tried a practice call a minute ago. I don't remember all these prompts! I hit 1 and then 2 for advanced ps. 1 was for ps within 7 days. It asked for my reservation number and I just hit # twice- then it asked for my zip code and wouldn't take # for an answer- kept asking. I hung up. Should I hit 1 and 1 in the morning to avoid the prompts? What have you guys been doing.
BTW- this is on the 407 WDW DINE number.
Thanks and pixie dust please!!! DD5 will be crushed if we don't get in!!!! She thinks this is a must every trip now that we've eaten there!!!

If you hit 1 and 1, you can by pass most of those prompts.

Thanks maci. I just spoke with a very nice cm. She advised hitting 1 and 1 also. She said the lines will probably be slammed tomorrow. She was working out of Tampa and they are operating on a generator. She said they were extremely short handed today but should be full work staff tomorrow. Her concern was if they are still on a generator that it will go out with everyone working. Hopefully not!!!!

Friday, I used the 1-407 #, then hit 1 and 1. It worked great. I got through about 7:08.

My mom and I both used the 407 number. I called in later in the day to try and make PS for VMCP 12/9 and got through to someone pretty quickly. She acted like everything was fine. I told her I was on hold forever this morning, and she said if you're on hold for more than 5 minutes, forget about CRT. I guess if you're stuck on hold work another phone? What are you supposed to do? Their system stinks! It's the luck of the draw. My mom just started calling and hitting redial. No tricks. And it actually worked! Can't believe it.

This hurricaine stuff is crazy! It's a shame for those who are there or going now. I feel so bad for them. But, it's a pain for those of us 90 days out trying to get through. I know, whine, whine, whine, I'm so spoiled!!

I can't wait!! less than 90 days!!

I called at 6:54 a.m. and got put on hold (i think) but it was dead air, no music, no nothing. So at 7:09 I called back, hit 1 and 1 and was put on hold with music, so I thought I'd stick it out. I held for 46 minutes - a great CM picked up at 7:55 and when I blurted out I needed CRT for Dec 5 and assumed it was all gone, she said, Nope I have it available..how many. After booking a 9:50 am reservation, she told me she was trying to get to as many people as possible before they were all gone and I was under the impression we got one of the last. I nearly hung up 6 times but am so glad I stuck it out. DD6 has never been to CRT and we are going to surprise her. Now on to the Epcot Princess bfast for Dec. 8. Thanks for all the pixie dust from you folks.

Please help me to understand their phone system. I did things "right" and we had four phones (between two houses) going from 6:59 a.m. and we just ended up with very long waits and no CRTs. How is it possible that others just phone, and get through?



Oh, well. It's not that there aren't more important things in the world. I do know that.

I'm just an obsessive Disney planner and I can't stop myself!

What is the latest PS available (technically) for a breakfast seating at Cinderella's Castle?
I want to know what to ask for when I do finally get to call.
Also, how do you know how many days in advance you can call to get a PS? Some of the guidebooks say from 60 to 120 days in advance. How did you know that Cindy's was 90 days and how can I find out about other PS reservation times?
