i'm STILL holding ..... I have an open house at my daughters school in one hour. I'm still in my robe on hold. When will this be over?

I was calling on two phones and started dialing at 6:56. Not that I think it matters, I mean, they can't answer till they actually open the lines! I dialed back about 5-6 times on each phone, I think. As soon as I heard one answer "Welcome to Disney Dining" I hit #1, and then immediately when I got the next prompt I hit #1 again and somebody answered. I can't believe it was so quick each time I tried!

Oh, and I actually had time to say "good morning" to the CM before I made my request this time .

It was the same way for me the past two days.... just not today. Oh well, we've got a noon lunch and hopefully cindy will be there. I'll try for tomorrow and check for cancellations for Dec. 1. I think Frances has them hopping pretty good right now too. COngrats to you guys.

I was calling for our November trip suring the week of Charley. They did close down the call center that Friday. The big difference this time is, first of all the center, I believe, is located in Tampa, which was in the direct line for landfall from Charley. Since Frances is coming from the Atlantic coast there should be a relatively low impact to the Tampa area. Tho with the unpredictability of Hurricanes...

According to the NOAA tracker it has a high probability of a direct hit on Orlando, Sunday early morning. What a tough year for the people living there. For almost 40 year no hurricane has hit the Orlando area, and in the span of 3 weeks they may get there second. Let's pray that Frances puts on its right turn signal and heads out towards the ocean.

Slightly OT...Frances is going to hit...it's just a matter of where. There's a large high pressure system just to the north of Frances basically steering it into FL and SE US. That High isn't moving, but if it weakens or intensifies, it can move Frances north or south, respectively, but not enough to miss FL.

I think we have to expect the possibility that dining will be closed at some point for Frances. The wind field is huge - 80 miles in diameter of hurricane force winds. Can you imagine the damage with all the debris still left from Charley?

after waiting for 70 mins I got through. The CM was surprised to find a spot for 2 ppl at 8:05!!!! I needed a ps for 7 but it's my dd's 3rd birthday, so it'll just be the two of us.... Hey, I'll take what I can get

congrats - but I wanted to let you know - I called a few days ago and added another adult to my CRT ressie with no problem. Well - now we can't go at all due to Frances but I just wanted to let you know that eventually you can probably add one or two more if you like

I think sometimes it depends on how many people are in your party. It's much easier to add on if your original PS is for an odd number. 1 can easily become 2 -- 1 is already at a table for 2. Smae with changing 3 to 4 -- or 5 to 6. But going from 2 to 3 or 4 to 5 means a different table has to be available. I would think, anyhow...but it never hurts to ask, right?!

I heard they are closing WDW this weekend cause of the hurricane.What happen to the people who have PS then I wonder if they get to go at a later date no waiting next time.

Was much quicker getting in today, didn't have any problems with the prompts this time. They answered 7:07 but all booked up.

Well, not going to try this again. Will just stick with PSB, almost 3 yr old will have to meet 'Cinnerella' somewhere else. Just not worth getting up in the dark to try.

Irish.... not sure if this is right but I was told sometimes cindy and her prince are still there in the lobby of the castle if you take an early lunch. SHe's happy to take pictures and sign autographs. You would at least get to eat/see the inside of the castle and maybe meet cinderella. Not that your 3 year old will know any better. I think we worry more than the kids even know or care about these breakfasts. Just a thought.

I just got our PS for CRT. I am so thrilled here, I can't say how badly I wanted to go see the princesses with my 6 yo princess wannabe. I got through on my second day of trying.

Yesterday was really bad. I kept getting disconnected from WDW dining.

Today, I called at 5:59 my time and I got through to a real live person. I almost went into to shock but I recovered and was able to get a PS for 8:50 on December 2nd.

Well, I am going back to bed to sleep for an hour until my dd gets up and we start getting ready to go to school.

Thanks to the board for all the advice and tips on getting this highly sought after PS.

Going to try again tomorrow, if they phone lines are open!

I did get a ressie for the 30th, but that was the one day I wanted to spend at a different park, b/c we have a MVMCP that night.
But I will be happy with what we can get!!

Everyone on this board is so amazing! If it weren't for all the tips and encouragement I never would have gotten this PS. I was on the phone at 6:58 hitting redial over and over again until it opened at 7:00am. I was put on hold immediately and almost lost faith but in less than a minute "Figment" picked up and I was able to get a PS for 10 ppl. at 9:35 Dec. 2. We're at 2 tables but who the heck cares. Thanks again everyone, I still can't believe it. I was shaking by the time I got off the phone this morning

Starting now for an early December trip. DD (age 6) has never been to Cindy's breakfast becuase I have never been able to get the PS. This year, we are at WDW for a whole week and I will try EVERY morning to get it done. She is so hopeful and if i get it I'll be a hero. I only need a PS for 3 and a baby so those of you with big groups, stay away the first week of December! Just kidding. Just hopeful.
