Hooray, I got through today! We have a ps for Tues. Feb. 1st at 8:50! I didn't have any luck yesterday so getting through today was really sweet. 4yo DD was very excited. She loves to eat in the castle with the princesses dressed in one of her princess gowns. This will be her 4th CRT breakfast.

Is anyone canceling CRT for Dec. 8th or 9th? Please PM me if you are. Also, I am canceling PSB at 8:50 on Dec. 10 and Ice Cream Social on the same day at 3:00. They are for a party of 5.
Let me know if you would like these and we can coordinate a time to call. I hope this helps someone out.

I got up early this morning (Im on the West Coast) and had 2 phones and 2 cellphones in front of me.

I did not get a chance to use the cellphone, I was too busy hitting redial.

Using the tips here, I hit 1 then 1 again.

I got not one but TWO agents (one in each ear)....

I got my first choice (8:05 AM on Friday the 4th, 2005)

Follow the tips here, they work!

Hi!

Yes, do follow the tips. They worked for me twice this week for my Mommy & Daughter trip Jan.28th-2/2 '05. One of the agents didn't realize that CRT was going to be up and running again by 1/28, so she kept telling me that it wouldn't let her book past 1/16! I asked her to keep checking other screens, and she got it!
I was tempted to book a 6 seater at 8:05 just incase other Disers and their daughters didn't get one, but went ahead and booked 2 for 8:05 instead

Because I just called and the options are

Hit 1- to make PS
Hit 1 if you are making them in the next 7 days, 2 if you are making them after that.

Does hitting 1 (for making PS in the next 7 days) give you a better chance or something?




ALSO, what time do the phone lines open?

Start dialing within the minute of 6:59. Hit redial if the operator doesn't say, " .....we're glad you called!" As soon as you hear this, hit #1, then #1 again. I'm not sure if #1 the second time gives you an advantage. I've done it before hitting #2 with the same results. Others posting on the board have recommended #1. Hope it works for you!

If you hit #2, it will ask you to input your telephone #, which will take extra time. Option #1 is technically for Florida area residents, and those arriving in the next 7 days, but the CM who picks up won't know which option you pick. I've actually gotten through doing it both ways, but if you're desperate to get through, I would do 1 and 1. The last time I did it that way, I got a real person at 7:00:20. Good luck!

Got it just like you most of you said, 1 &1 !!! Got though right at 7. I used the pc clock so I don't know if that is the exact time or not. Yippee!

I really wanted this date for my twin girls who will be turning 6 on that day, but unfortunately it was booked up. The CSR was very nice and did get me in for the Princess Storybook breakfast. I began calling at 6:55 and kept getting the "high volume call" message OR I was put on immdiate hold w/ music. I was using 2 phones and I just stayed on hold on 1 of them for 30m before it was answered at 7:40ish

I've lurked for months here and just wanted to thank you all for your invaluable tips, w/o them I would not have even got the Storybook Breakfast. With your advice I feel I gave it my best shot and even though I wasn't lucky enough to get CRT I know my girls will be thrilled nonetheless, its ME who's disappointed LOL


Good luck to everyone else!! I'll be watching for cancellations for my date of 2-7-05, so if anyone thinks they will cancel PLEASE email me!!

Sorry you did not get CRT for that day. I would keep trying to see if any cancellations come open. Also, try 48 hours before the day you are wanting to go. That is the deadline to cancel without losing the deposit.

I think your girls will love PSB though. But I know being in the castle is magical. Best of luck! Hope your girls have a magical birthday when you are there wherever you end up.

I have not done the CRT breakfast yet...but we eat at the castle every trip and are never disappointed...there's just some kind of charm eating lunch there and they treat you like a princess while you're there (my girls atleast!)....I think you'd be very pleased with the PSB breakfast...my girls LOVED it...and then schedule a lunch at the castle...the nuance is not lost on them...I actually prefer eating lunch in the castle v. breakfast because their lunches are usually very good and breakfast is just breakfast.

I think you will be very pleased with PSB...the princesses were very attentive and spent a good deal of time with my girls....many times we were waiting for them to leave so we could finish eating...they liked to sit and chat! + the accents at Norway lend to a more royal feel!

I do feel better that you all have had a good experience at PSB, I'm sure we will too. I will call back closer to the 48 hour cancellation times and periodically until then. Who knows, I may get lucky!!

I am totally amazed that I was able to get CRT for 7 for Feb 7th at 8:05 on the very first time I tried to get a reservation. I called the 800 number I read somewhere on this thread which was not for dining after all, and the CM transferred me to the right line. I thought I was going to miss out due to this, however I was able to get through! The funny thing is that my best friend (who we are travelling with), was also trying and she could only get 2 separate tables for 4, and 3 for 9:30. She was going to cancel them last night or this morning, so call again, maybe you can get it again. Sorry she didn't know exactly when she was calling so I could let you guys know and have a chance to grab it. In short, try again, you never know!

Hello all!
We just returned from our WDW Halloween trip. We loved the Cinderella breakfast and really felt like each Princess spent time with our little Princess. (Even the Fairy Godmother). We felt just the opposite at the Norway breakfast. All the Princesses except Mulan seemed to be on a time schedule. They would sign her book then take a "quick picture" then run to the next table. It seemed very rushed and they all came at one time into one of the three dining rooms.
For our next trip in May we will be skipping the Norway breakfast as long as we can get the one in the Cinderella castle.

Total newbie here.

My query is two fold. First, we are going to Disney with 10 people. I am in charge of booking breakfast with Cindy. Like thats EASY!!!

I know the routine, how to call. First query is whether asking for 2 tables for 5 (if I do get through...?), do you think that tightens the chances of me getting in? Should I be a little selfish and say, sorry - I only got a table for my group of four?

Second query is this. We are going with two different sets of people - life is unique. The first group have a boy and girl and they marginally care if they do Cindy's table as they are OK with Chef Mickey's. But we are there the first week with them and my two DD's would love to do breakfast in the Castle. SO... I do the routine and get tables (I am presuming luck...).

The second group is my brother, sister in law and their girls and another friend and her daughter. They REALLY want the breakfast and my girls would love to do the breakfast with this group. BUT its a week later and what happens if I can't get the tix that week? So I grab week one and then sure enough I get in the next week.

Why can I not offer them off to someone here who missed out on the date I got. After all is that not what Dreams Unlimited is doing? I am not talking for a premium, I am just seeing people post here that they are cancelling their dates. Can we not share them?

Final, an aside question. What is the last date to cancel and get a refund. I am thinking we are booked for a Monday and three days out they are calling for heavy rain all day. Breakfast would be great but the day at Disney is the thing right. Can I cancel 48 hours out?

Just got back and CRT was wonderful -- princesses were very attentive and service was great. We had a reservation for 4 -- wanted it for 6 but only party of 4 available when I booked. Called up many, many times to check and never able to change to 6 so rest of our party went to MGM while we went to CRT. When we got to CRT they sat the 4 of us at a table for 6! The hostess who was seating us heard us comment about the 2 chairs and said the rest of our party was welcome to join us -- of course they couldn't since they were at MGM already. So if you can't book for as many as you'd like make sure the extra members come with you because they might still be able to go!

I just booked my next trip "home" to DVC and realized several hours too late that we will be checking out exactly 90 days from today. There goes any chance I might have had.

Did any of you make any "back-up" breakfast PS's for Cindy's of Norway earlier this week that you are considering cancelling? If so, please PM me!!! We will be there from the evening of 2/5 through the morning of 2/9 (but don't plan on going to the parks that last morning).
