Well I have been telling everyone today how I was able to get the hardest PS in Disney and all I got was blank stares :bitelip: So, I've come to the place where I know folks understand what I am talking about. So here it goes. :jumping4: :cheer2: :cool1: :love: I GOT CINDY RESSIE ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!!! :rockband: :earseek: Yipeeeeeeee!!! Sorry, I feel better now..... :flower1: :wizard:

I felt the same way when I got my PS for our upcoming trip!!! My DDs are going to be so excited, it's a surprise, I can't wait to see their faces.

Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most folks look at us oddly when we get so happy about things like this! Its ok we definately understand how cool it is!

I get to try my luck on Saturday - I think I have printed out all the information as to what to do - when to call, what buttons to hit....I hope I am as lucky as you - congrats!!!

got it 1st try here as well and I didnt call until after 9,but I was very happy,we planned our whole trip around this breakfast.I hope its worth it :earseek:
 
I'm so excited for all of you!! We just ate there in Dec, and this weekend I am going to start calling for our April trip.

I have been calling 407-939-3463...but, the menus seem to have changed. Could one of you "successful" people PLEASE tell me how you did it? I am really nervous that I am going to mess this one up.

I've been taking notes... here's some of them..

3) You should only make reservations using the (407) 939-3463 number. The (800) numbers used for Annual Passholders and other services sometimes have delays (as much as 12 seconds) that will seriously hinder your ability to get a Cindy's PS.

4) Syncronize your clock. Go to the official U.S. time clock for great results. I have DSL at home, so I leave the official U.S. clock up on my screen while calling.

5) Get up and 'at 'em! Begin calling at about 6:58am Eastern time. Plan on calling 10-15 times during this two minute period. The range seems to be picking up between 6:58:30am and 6:59:30am. Some people have successfully tried and used multiple phones to get through.

I know there is some hints about hitting one, one...
 
I got through on the first try a week ago when I made our reservation. I was so happy I started crying on the phone and could barely give the CM our info! DH thinks I'm nuts! I called 1-407 wdw-dine starting at 6:58 EST. If they start to say "Our offices are closed", hang up right after they say "offices". You will get a different greeting when they open. STAY ON THE LINE. You are officially on hold to get your reservation! As soon as they say the word "understand", push 11. That makes you bypass the rest of the menu which would require you to push more buttons! I did this and a CM picked up immediately! I'm still jumping for joy at the thought! :cheer2: Good luck, I hope it works for everyone else too!
 
:cool1: :cheer2: THANKS to advice on this thread I followed the instructions and yes - we got our Cindy ressies for April 15th - 10 people at 8:30 am - I was so excited I called my sister in Buffalo and my nephew in Virginia (all off whom will be joining us) - I am still DANCING!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

Thanks so much for posting that advice, but I don't get what you are saying (sorry if I am being really obtuse). I just called 1-407-wdw-dine, and they didn't say the word "understand". The message I got, said: "Thank you for calling Disney Dining. Priority seatings for character breakfasts as well as many others can be made as far as 90 days in advance. Certain exceptions apply. If you are calling for Victoria and Albert's, press 2. All others press 1."

Now, on my phone, the "system" will not acknowledge anything until the recordings says, "IF you are calling...". Then, I hit 1. If I hit 11 right then, the system does not recognize the answer. I then have to wait until the recording starts speaking again to hit 1.

That is just a lot of time in the morning when you are trying to get into a cue. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I would LOVE to get through the "cue" faster!!

WOO HOO!!! I am glad that you were able to get CRT. Yes, people still look at me funny when I get excited about this as well.
 
Beca, I just double checked my directions and what I posted is what I did. I will try calling tomorrow to see what is up. Could it maybe have changed just in the last couple days? I doubt it. I entered the 11 before they got to any menu choices and got right in. Maybe try a different phone?
 
I tried to get through this morning and did not get Cindy's. I agree with the other poster...I never heard them say the word "understand". I have to wait and then I press 1, then 2, then my phone #, then 1, then 1. Is that correct?
