OH NO!!! They are raising the prices for the castle??? Is this 'cause of the dining plan being such a good deal? I bet that means all the character dining will go up as well....EEEK! :earseek:
Sure would hate to pay the prices w/o the dining plan!

some prices are going up and breakfast is now going to cost 2 TS instead of 1. i think disney thinks everyone is a millionare LOL

Yes, we just booked the CRT breakfast and the price will be going up. We are doing the dining plan so it is 2 TS but when I made my reservation for this they told me you get your picture taken when you walk into the castle and they give you the pictures (I think you get quite a few) before you leave.

Oh my, We are definietly gonna have to get the dining plan then. We were just discussing it last night and I was gonna be asking some questions about it here today.

Your will get the pictures even if you are not on the dining plan, they are just included in the price. I will be going in Feb and doing the dining plan for the first time so I have read good things about it and i think it will work well for my family.

Yeah, I knew it didn't matter whether you were on the dining plan or not. We weren't gonna get the diningplan, because one day we are there we wouldn't have used it, but since CRT has went up to 2 TS credits, it would be cheaper for us to go ahead and get the dining plan, and just go ahead and use the extra TS for that and we will end up using the CS some other time during our stay

I hope so because I have all our ressies planned using all our TSs and then some. And my parents are paying out of pocket, are the prices still the lower price in January? Bummer. On the upside, maybe this will make the ressie easier to get [because don't want to spend the money]. ;o)

Until 2/1, CRT is 1 TS credit and OOP cost is $21.99 (w/o a picture package).

Likewise, deposits up until 2/1 (that is- ADRs for meals prior to 2/1) are the previous deposit system. $10 per person for adults and $5 per child. For ADRs for 2/1 and after- you'll pay IN ADVANCE for the meal.

Also- you'll need to have your picture I.D. and the charge card that you paid the deposit (or advance payment) with you when you check in at the castle. This is what we were told when we made our ADR for our last CRT event.

We don't do the dining plan, and even with DDE, the breakfast that I don't mind paying $17.59 for (after DDE discount) will cost me $26.39 as of 2/1 (after DDE discount).

I can think of quite a few other things that I could do with $50. And we do love the French Toast Loaf at the Main Street Bakery.

At least they're not charging $31.99 for that (yet). :rotfl2:
