My daughter & I went thru a CRT nightmare yesterday! The system definately did not recognize the DDP & definitely did charge her CC in full. After several phone calls to Dining & DVC, we were finally able to straighten it out. (Short story, we're cking in one day earlier, which was added on 4 mos ago. However, they gave us a separate resv # for that 1st nite. Online would let us go out to the day we wanted, but charged the card. Dining said it was impossible for their system to book more than the day of ck in & the following day which shows as ck out. However, we are not cking out, staying in the same room for 4 more nites. Didn't matter to the Dining CM, at all. DVC was finally able to book a new ADR for her, and only authorized her card.....didn't charge it.)
My daughter then called Dining to cancel the ADR that was done online. They told her that it would take a minimum of 30 days for the credit to be done to her card, and could take up to 3 mos. If she had kept that original ADR, then the credit would have been done a little over 3 mos from now when they ate at CRT & the DDP was credited for the meal.
