::MickeyMo Couple of questions concerning this as I have never done this before:

1. What is the number to order one?
2. What restaurants can it be delivered to?
3. Does it taste as good as it looks?
4. What was the price of it again? $15?

Thanks again! You guys always come through! ::MinnieMo

Can't answer them all, but I'll try!

Far as I know, the GF Bakery is the only place that does them, and most people are told they can only be served at the restaurants or room service at the GF due to ingredients, transporting issues, etc. They were $14 last I heard, we enjoyed them immensely, but they are very rich and has lots of white chocolate. Lots of people have said they loved the look but it was too much on the taste factor. We had ours served at the GF Cafe, which is a wonderful place to eat, but could be anyplace there - including tea, as well.

I can't remember the number, I'm sorry =(

I only have GF's main number: 407-824-3000 but you can ask them to be transferred to the bakery or the restaurant you are eating at. Either can handle it.

It was $14 in November. We had it at 1900 Park Fare for dinner. It was certainly beautiful but rich. My two DDs liked the slipper itself but not really the moose.

::MickeyMo Thanks so much! So...you order it ahead of time and they'll deliver it for dessert say...for dinner at 1900 Park Fare? We're doing that on May 18th. Doable? ::MinnieMo

 :Pinkbounc I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! you guys are fantastic :grouphug:
I have gotten so many great ideas and this is just another example. I only hope I can be as helpful to someone. Thanks again great thread as are many of the others I have read!! Glad I joined ::MickeyMo

Have a magical day and lots of pixie dust on your next trip :wave2:

We ordered it at this number...407 824-2978.

As noted above it can be delivered to any of the GF restaurants, however we were able to get ours to go and took them to Mizners Lounge to eat.

I thought both the slipper and the mousse tasted amazing! Even the milk chocolate and chocolate mousse were very good, and Im not a big fan of regular chocolate mousse. You could tell it was very good quality chocolate. We were lucky enough to have ours served on white chocolate plates so we had leftovers for our whole trip.

Again, as noted above $14.00.

I know its been a long day but where is the picture? For some reason I can't see it. And I'm REALLY into chocolate of any kind. Your description is making me drool and since I can't see it I'm getting frustrated!! Okay, I'm getting the keyboard wet too!

And now my smilies are working - maybe its time for bed....

Just one more question, sorry.

from the picture it appears they write a person's name on the plate? is it limited to 1st name only? I"d like to get it for DF on our honeymoon with her new last name on it!! I think that would be cute and a real surprise for her :sunny: Am I correct in this?

Thanks again you all are great

While we're talking about the slippers, does anyone have a picture of the Mickey Mouse dessert? I believe he is standing up, and it's white chocolate...? I KNOW I saw something like that on these boards.... :confused3

What is it officially called? And how much does it cost? About $14 as well?

Thanks for any help! I'm trying to find this so I can order one as a surprise for my DH.

I found the link to the picture of the white chocolate Mickey Mouse I had seen; it looks yummy....!

White Choc Mickey Mouse

Hey, that's my picture and my link!! We got that at the BWV last August. We ate the strawberries but we saved Mickey for home. He actually made it home in one piece!

The Mickey and Strawberries price varies from resort to resort. I paid a little over $50 including the taxes and fees. You can get just Mickey for a bit less.

Ooo! OO! Tell me about this! I wish my DH would do something cool like this for me! :) But I can clue the other guy we're going with in on it for his GF.

Can we get this with dinner? We're going 12/1 for our traditional dinner before MVMCP! It's the actual date of our anniversary.

Yes, you can arrange to have it for dessert at any GF restaurant. We had it for dessert at the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare.
