CRT Breakfast question.... I can't make ADR's yet, and I feel so discouraged. Should I not?

We be visiting in January, 2017, at the end of the WDW marathon week. We will be staying three nights at Poly and then two nights at Shades of Green. So, five total. My best friend has always dreamed of eating in Cinderella's Castle. I would prefer breakfast. I know this is a slower time of the year, but wondering if there is any hope of securing a reservation. I won't have as much time as the 180 days plus 10 because we aren't staying as long. I know to be online before 6am, ready to go when the clock strikes 6, with all info pulled up already. I am just so discouraged by reading posts of people who try and try to get this reservation. I have read many tips, but am just wondering if I should feel more hopeful than I do?

I obviously can't make any guarantees - but I would think you would be OK! I went the week before Thanksgiving and when my ADR window opened up, I had several CRT breakfast options. Good luck!

Thank you! I don't have any idea WHY I am feeling so discouraged about this before I can even make ADR's. I think all the negative threads. I did play around yesterday, and was able to find an 830 am ADR for August 2 (summer) at CRT. So, I should feel hopeful. - I hope!

Yes, definitely don't feel discouraged! People change their plans constantly. Our trip a couple of weeks ago was delayed two days by the blizzard and I never thought at 3 days out I'd be able to find a new reservation for CRT. But I actually found ressies available for CRT breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and not just for CRT, but also saw openings for 'Ohana dinner, BOG lunch & dinner, etc.) So once you get closer, just keep checking for those popular ones.
