 All I want is a reservation at Cinderellas Royal table. I've been trying since APRIL when I booked my honeymoon but nothing!! I don't understand why i had to wait 30 days out to meake my reservation and Victoria and Alberts but the CRT can be booked a year in advance. Couldn't dinner ba adults only or something. I mean I love kids but how many parents out there probably booked 5 meals there for their little princess?UGH!

When is your trip? Have you checked the trade/cancel threads?

There are probably those who would ask why CRT can't be a children's only restaurant - after all, Cinderella is a fictional character out of children's literature, and the restaurant is smack dab in the middle of the biggest child-friendly theme park on the planet. "Adults only" tables would take away from the space children could be having to see their favorite childhood character while they are still young enough to believe she is real.

It's just a matter of perspective. Im sorry you can't get a table, but people do cancel so I would certainly keep trying!!

CRT can be booked at 180 days. This is definitely a popular reservation, but I've been reading lately of a lot of people picking up cancellations close to their travel dates. Stalk the dining line. Call 3 times a day, and be flexible with dates and times.

As PP mentioned, also check the cancel/trade threads for your month of travel.

I don't think you will find a lot of support for making CRT dinner adults only. And I doubt that any parent has booked 5 meals there. Most people are lucky to get one reservation. And honestly the food isn't that good considering the price. I booked a breakfast for my DD and I on our upcoming trip (booked at the 180 day mark of our checkin), but mostly because she enjoys the atmosphere of the castle and meeting the princesses. I wouldn't bother making a dinner reservation since you only greet Cindy in the lobby and there are no princesses circulating among the tables. And I would never pay for more than 1 meal there per trip.

As a mom of two little princesses, while I'm sure there could be exceptions, I highly doubt any parent wants to go through more than one dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Also, sorry, but that is the last restaurant/character meal that should ever be made "adults only". It's a child's fantasy land..not Victoria and Alberts.

There are lots of us who can't get reservations for CRT. My little girl wants to dine with Cinderella too. Oh well!

We'll keep trying. You should too. I've read lots of incidents of people lucking out last minute. If there are just two of you, ya never know! A CM told me this one books up immediately 6 months in advance.

Keep on trying! Every day! Do not give up until the day you want to go there! Just remember though, if you whine about it and then complain about all of the kids and princesses, you turn into one as well. If you know what I mean. ;)

Well If you cant get CRT then try 1900 Park Fare for Dinner Cindy is there, and I am sure that parents are not eating at CRT 5 times a trip I think that the magic in it would run out! 5 times that's a bit much. We all must keep in mind that at Walt Disney World We Are ALL Children! :yay:

If it means that much to you to have dinner at CRT then I would suggest you keep calling back - you may be lucky enough to snag an ADR from someone that has cancelled. I would also suggest that you check with your hotel concierge if you're staying on WDW property; sometimes they can work miracles.

And if you're not able to land the reservation it just gives you something to look forward to on another visit. :thumbsup2

I'm sure you're frustrated because you want everything for your honeymoon to be just right, but it's not right to blame everyone else for your inability to get a table. CRT is probably the single-most popular character meal on property and it's difficult to get an ADR there, even at 180 days. And quite frankly, Victoria and Albert's will be a far more romantic dining event than CRT - just think what a wonderful evening the two of you will have there!

Congratulations and have a terrific honeymoon ; don't let something like this ruin it for you ... it's just not worth it. :goodvibes

Just keep calling, reservations can open up at any time.

As a solo adult diner, even I would be against making CRT adults only at dinner.

I'm not blaming anyone but it's just fustrating that there is a resrvation open but because we are two and not five we can't have it. Don't get me wrong i think kids are great I just think Disney should set aside more blocks of two and maybe one night of diner. Sorry if that offends anyone. I just feel like more and more people without kids get the crap end of the stick. Not everyone is a breeder yet. :) I know V&A will be amazing but we wanted to have a fun breakfast one day. I will keep calling though. I know there will be a ton of little princesses there but i'm a queen and I get what I want princess:

Yep.

I'm sorry you can't get in, but don't let it ruin your honeymoon. It's not worth it. We've eaten dinner there three times, but it's more about the experience, the food isn't that great. I can't imagine anyone would want to eat there more than once per trip, let alone 5 times.

Editing because I saw your post on another board, and I did have another thought...the table for 2 is probably your biggest problem. There don't seem to be as many tables for parties of 2 in the WDW restaurants in general. It stinks, I know, but my DH ran into that when he was trying to make our ADRs for our anniversary trip last year.

Keep trying, something may open up.

When are you going? Not for any particular reason... except that I may be changing my plans entirely, and I think I have a breakfast reservation at CRT...

It's a lot easier to get. We're going to CRT (with a child) for breakfast next week and booked 180 days prior. We knew that's what we had to do.

You can try for dinner. It's easier to get. We booked a dinner at CRT 3 weeks ago for mid August and had no trouble at all.

I called every few days for about 2 weeks and I was able to get CRT for breakfast for a party of 3. (We booked about 6 weeks before our trip.) I was able to get dinner at 9pm any night of the week.

I just called every day and said "Do you have CRT for a meal for ___size party any day between June 23-28th?"

I'm sorry that you are having such trouble. In my opinion, it really is a "kid" experience so that may be why there are more tables for larger parties. Actually though, the larger parties bring in more revenue, I would think, so that is probably a reason as well.

CRT was wonderful for us because, well...it is the castle and we have a DD4. The food was not that exciting and it certainly didn't seem romantic to me at all.

I love the Queen I get What I Want:) Call The Dinning Line and tell them when and what time the real Queen will be arriving and you may just get that ressie:rotfl2: No just keep calling, I called 3 and 4 times a day for what I wanted and I got everything I wanted and them some, Good Luck!;)

Hi,
I heard that the food is awful at CRT look at the reviews on the dis board. If you just want to be in the castle to eat then try call every day that get canc. all the time. In the review they said that the food was bad and the little show from the characters was about 7 min long they don't even stop at your table. We went to 1900 park fare for dinner in july the food was good and the characters were great the step sisters stole the show. They were so funny. It was the best character dinner I have been to could not stop
laughing:laughing:. Charming and cindy stop at your table for pics and to talk. I would ask for a table in the center of the main room more action there.
Pam

I'm not a breeder, I am a parent. As a matter of fact, I have three children. That makes us a family of 5. It's not easy getting that number at a table either. Been there tried that. Let's just all own up to the fact it is hard to get a reservation you really want sometimes. Period.

Get over yourself. You are far from being a queen because at least she would care for the people in her kindom and not think only of herself.

You said it Teach, what are we livestock?

I know there will be a ton of little princesses there but i'm a queen and I get what I want

Just for that attitude alone I hope you call every day and get blisters dialing the number to end up with squat.

This thread is getting to heated for me, I'm outta here.
