While we loved the breakfast at Akershus, there is just something magical about the castle. We've had breakfast there several times and always enjoyed it. Our waiter Dave made the experience even more fun with his witty comments to my DH and son-in law. And the girls just loved the wands and the wishing ceremony on our last trip. I'll definitely book this again- plus if you schedule early enough just being on Main St almost alone is worth it!

We always try to get the first breakfast seating. You have perfect photo ops with an empty park and twice we lucked out at got a table right next to the window overlooking the carousel.

I'm going to definitely book breakfast at CRT for my August trip and call this morning to see if I could even schedule it for my trip on 1/16 (but I'm not too hopeful). Is lunch easier to schedule than breakfast? We had lunch at CRT in June and will again on 1/16. For both ADR, I think I called about 2-3 months in advance, definitely not the 180 day mark. Was I just lucky? Or is it the breakfast that really fills up fast?
