Is cinderellas royal table really worth the money?
I know the setting is inside the castle and its nice inside but is that the only reason why it costs so much?
Is the food really that good?
thanks:thumbsup2

For us, the breakfast no, we would much rather have breakfast with the Princesses in Norway than at CRT (better food and Princess interaction IMHO). However we went for dinner this past September and thought the food was really good. We don't go there for the character experience, like I said before we much rather have Princess interaction at Akershus, but rather we go for the atmosphere and the food. Also, when we went in September and when we go again in May we have, and will be using, the DxDP so we can justify eating there more than if we were going to be paying OOP. To tell you the truth, if we were paying OOP for our meals we probably would not be eating at CRT.

We thought the food and service was below average. But for us it was still worth it for the princesses and the atomsphere. We booked breakfast and dinner for January because DD6 loves eating in the castle. We are doing DxDDP so we have lots of credits

NO!

It's part of the reason. The restaurant is not very large so the seating is limited. The character dining adds to the cost, and they do include a photo keepsake with the meal.

No, the food is is not really that good. It's ok, but far from great.

I did it once with my dd. Was it worth the price, no, but with a child it was one of those things as a parent I wanted to do. Unfortunatly as great as WDW is, they sure know how to play that trump card up real good and manage to get those dollars out of your pocket.

Is this worth all the money--no. But...I do think it's something that everyone should do once. Eating in the castle was cool.:thumbsup2

The food was good, but definetly not the best I've had at WDW. The kids loved the wands and swords that came with dinner; they still play with them. The photo package was nice too.

Would I do it again--no, we are 1 and done, but we're glad we did it once.:thumbsup2

The setting is the only reason it is so costly. The food is very non descript and you have few choices.

It's also pretty crowded with tables and chairs so it's not particularly comfortable when the princesses come to visit. I agree with pp that Akershaus is a better character experience.

This said, it's an experience I advise doing once if you can afford it - there's something really cool about eating in the castle.

We enjoyed the breakfast, but it is really about the princesses and the interaction. My daughter (8) loved it, my son dealt with it, and my dh particularly enjoyed Jasmine! :lmao:

It was nice meeting Cinderella and getting photos with her; I think everyone should do it once.

all about eating in the castle. The food is fine - we've done all three meals, liked all loved none. The characters are great but you get more time with them at Akershus. Photo package is a great incentive too but the real beauty is eating in the castle.

we have made a number of trips now and this trip will probably be our last as DD wasn't so bothered about the princess/character meals this time. Having said which if we kept any character meals it would probably be here for the location or Crystaal Palace.

CRT is one of the first that my family asks for. It has always been our first breakfast of the trip. We thought the food was good, the characters great, and the experience priceless. When my DH and DS STILL want to go I think it must be pretty special (haahaahaa)

Try eating at the castle in Norway, usually it is much easier to get into and they have a pretty good food selection. I have been for both breakfast and dinner.

we were there on Dec 6. our server was wonderful. as far as the price, we knew we were paying for the experience vs. 5 star type of dining food. although we did not have any issues with our adult meals, we were totally thrown by the lack of choices on the kids menu. the kids menu food was not good at all. i agree about the character interaction, it is not the best. they come by your table and sign your books but it is very rushed. that is my adult opinion, we paid OOP. as far as my girls are concered, even though the kids food was awful as they are used to eating what we eat, they rem. the experience as the best one on our trip as they got to go in the castle. we knew ahead of time that is what we were paying for. i don't think i will book it again as it was one of those things IMO that is a one time thing to do. we will try the Norway thing next time we go :)

If you have little princesses that would get a kick out of it, maybe. We did it once for breakfast.
Food is not good so definitely not worth the money there. We took my neice and she still remembers it, so in that aspect it was money well spent.

would not do it again.

The food is average at best and there's very few things to choose from.

That being said...our server was fantastic, most of the characters were great with our 1-yr-old daughter, eating dinner while the fireworks were going off around us was cool (you can see some out the windows), and the whole "eating inside Cinderellas Castle" is definitely fun to do at least once. Plus you get a photo with Cinderella and they give girls wands and boys get toy swords.

For the experience as a whole, sure, it's Disney, I'll swallow the bill. But just for the food? No way.

As an experience...I say ABSOLUTELY!!

For the food, nope...not so much.

We did a late breakfast and while the food was fine...it was just that, fine!

But DD and even DS were thrilled to be there and I quite enjoyed myself as well. DH was just going with the flow but he was happy we were happy.

We did breakfast OOP once...and it isn't very likely we will ever do it again. (Although both kids have asked about doing it again on our next trip.)

As far as our family was concerned it WAS worth the $150 for the experience...but only once!

Do you see all the princess's at the castle when you eat there. My daughter just Aced her bone's test, so I owe her a meal at the castle.

If you're looking at it strictly from the food perspective then no- it's not worth the $. We had good food and service on our first trip to CRT with a partial view of Fantasyland, and horrible food and awful service (Plus an a/c drip directly overhead) on our 2nd visit. Truthfully, I don't even think it's about the princess interaction (although it helps) b/c I feel the princess interaction at CRT and Akershus is pretty close. HOWEVER- you don't go to CRT for the food...you go for the experience. :smickey: So, the question you must ask - is it worth it to you to dine in the castle? :confused3 To us- it had MEGA cool factor. :cool1: I mean really- all those years going to WDW as a kid, gushing over the castle, and FINALLY, I was inside and it looked and felt like the "child me" :rotfl: thought it would be like inside. All in all, the experience is very special. :cloud9:

When we first went 23 years ago, yes, it was well worth it. There was a very good menu and the food was excellent. Then we went back 5 years ago, and no, it is the one place that you go now mainly for the experience. There is no comparison now for when we went the first time. Saying that, I would still go once, because it is a unique experience, and most children are SO excited to be eating "in a castle" ;)
