Cinderellas Royal Table - When will the Characters come back? Hopefully before mid May!

I spent sooo much time and effort getting reservations for Royal Table just to find out they don't have the princesses come around!! I was wondering if there were any rumors about when they will return, considering the expense and expectations of this one of a kind experience!

I’m in the same boat - we have reservations mid May too for CRT and will cancel if it’s the same as it is now. I want it back but not holding my breathe for a mid May…

So far, reports are that any restaurant that had socially distanced characters present were immediately back to “normal” yesterday when meet & greets went back to hugging/autographs. At CRT, only Cinderella has been there- but I would assume that at least she is going table to table & other princesses *should* be arriving soon (if not already!)

By the way, the only time in my life I’ve been at CRT was with just Cindy- talking & waving from a distance. It wasn’t my preference, but I still loved it just the same! I was in the castle, all of my food was very yummy (I’d heard not-so-great reviews prior to shutdown), and it was glorious

Cinderella was only meeting downstairs before the meal. So I’m thinking that’ll be a non distanced meet now

Lol, I'm kind of hoping they'll wait to announce characters coming back until after I can book ADRs next week so we'll pay the $62/person price vs the price they would charge for a full character meal. Prepaid meal means you pay the price at booking time vs price on ADR day.

I worked so hard to get those reservations... I would hate to cancel if they characters are not there back to normal at both the big venues! I just got notified that many of them are back to normal, but still modified at BOG and CRT! Common!

We were there April 16 for dinner and only Cinderella was meeting downstairs. No other princesses. I think they would need to move some of the tables in the center around because it would be tight to have more roaming characters

What I think Cinderella's Royal Table is gonna do with the princesses is probably gonna bring them out during the dinner hours now and probably bring two princesses out for the breakfast hours and every day the princesses will be rotated and be various. As for Cinderella herself I think they will move her to a special meet and greet area next to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique so little girls can meet her after they get their makeovers done at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for autographs and souvenir photos. I think why Cinderella's Royal Table hasn't brought back the princesses yet for meet and greets and autographs is because of time and money and not only that Cinderella is probably the busiest of all the Disney Princesses because she not only appears in Cinderella's Royal Table but she also has to go to Royal Fairytale Hall to meet people during meet and greets. But I think before they make the characters return Cinderella's Royal Table is probably gonna hold auditions for character actors to play more princesses and princes. But however it goes Cinderella's Royal Table will show more improvement and get more visitors once characters return again

that's quite unlikely. also, they wouldn't take Cinderella out of CRT

They definitely have more than one person dressing as Cinderella. They wouldn’t take her away from Cinderella’s Royal Table even if they did add a meet and greet as part of Bibbity Bobbity Boutique

As far as I know, it’s still just Cinderella in the lobby. I honestly would go to Akershus instead to get the princesses at the table. I don’t think I’d spend the money on CRT again. It was much better IMO when the princesses were going around

As @Neurodude84 pointed out, they're still selling out every table every day. Why change things when they're still making money hand over fist?

Hoping for you that by March Disney has been able to hire enough pretty young ladies with the right talents to be close friends with the princesses.

I know that the littles would love the princesses but if they cinderellas royal table into more cinderella themed with the step sisters, prince charming, lady Tremaine and fairy godmother - I wouldn't be mad about that.
Then when Parkfare opens they can stick to more British Characters like Alice, and Mad Hatter all day.

They need to reopen some of these dining experiences. The available ones like Storybook dining are nearly impossible to get in because there are so few face character options!
Also.. why they haven't turned boatwrights into a Tiana-themed character dining.. no idea they have a perfect module on the Disney cruises!

Considering other locations still don’t even have their characters back while people pay $70 here for just one character to show up, I imagine it is their last priority.
