Cinderella's Royal Table Substitutions?

We have a lunch reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. I am a somewhat picky eater, in that I do not eat any form of seafood, and I do not eat pork other than breakfast sausage or bacon; even so, I'm not a huge fan of bacon (I know, I'm not normal). Also, I'm not big on mushrooms. Nearly every item on the menu has mushrooms, seafood, or pork.

Do you think it's likely that I could get the beef and shrimp with something substituted for the shrimp (extra non-mushroom veggies, maybe?)?

I think it's likely. The kids' version of the beef tenderloin comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables so they should be able to substitute veggies since they already have them on hand. You could probably also ask for an adult sized portion of the this kid meal. In looking at the menu it reads like the vegetables have the mushroom sauce on them in the entree but not in the kid version, so be clear about what you want.

You sound like me. I do not eat seafood at all, no mushrooms but I will eat pork just not really bacon or breakfast sausage. People think I am weird for not liking bacon.

On to your question. I think what the PP said would work. Just talk to them about what you want and don't want. We have never eaten at CRT but at Teppen Edo I need to change things for my daughter and myself. The Chef gives me a funny look every time I tell them that i want everything plain with no sauce. I don't think he understood why I didn't want soy sauce on my steak. Every restaurant we have been to has worked with my daughter and myself with food. I am CRT will too.

I’m also very picky. I won’t eat seafood either. Last year we went and I got the pork at dinner and ended up switching with DH (he got steak and shrimp). I didn’t eat the shrimp, but for some reason I just didn’t like the pork at all. I normally love pork but I’m very picky about what goes on my food, seasoning wise.

During our last trip I told them to keep the pork off my place (observant Jew) and they brought me out a steak. I don't keep totally kosher (I eat in all restaurants) but Disney has always helped me with my avoidance of pork and shrimp.
