We have a large group (14) that would like to book reservation at CRT.... any suggestions on how to manage this?? When we call on day 180, I'm thinking they will have to transfer us to group sales and then we won't have a chance... or should 2 of us try to call with the group split into two reservations? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hopefully someone with more experience can give you a better answer but what I would do is to make 3 separate ADR's for this to begin with. (The larger tables are VERY limited.) Then I would call for the larger party and see if you can get it after you have secured your initial ADR. They can always cancel your first ones if that needs to be done.

I think this is a great idea although, since most tables are four tops, I would actually break it into four reservations, like two for three and two for four. Also, which is more important: just going or sitting together?

You can book on-line for parties up to 14 (assuming there is availability).

Thanks.... I see that they have number up to 14 on the drop down in the reservation screen but I was afraid I would put it in and then it would tell me to call....Will they let you make multiple reservations on one call or would we have to have several different people call do you think?

I made reservations at CRT for a party of 11 back in February. We are going in Aug. I split my group into 2 (5 and 6). I used Safari and had two tabs open at the same time and made them both myself. After I had the reservations I checked to see if I could get one all at one table, but wasn't able to. I would definitely suggest splitting your group into 2 or 3 and trying that way first.

I just did this for a party of 11. You can try putting in 14 people, but I doubt that it will show any available seating. You could try two, but if it still comes up not available, then break it into 3 reservations. If you do it on line: make sure you are logged in, make your first ADR, then make your second, a message will pop up that you have an existing ADR would you like to cancel it or keep it. Check"keep" and continue. I print out the confirmation #s as I go. Your ADR times may be 5 minutes apart, but I figure that really isn't a big deal. Just be prepared that your party may be split up inside the restaurant.

I am very interested in this too~ we have a party of 11. This is our first trip using the online system~ and I definitely want to use it since you can book ADRs an hour earlier than on the phone. I love the idea of making ADRs online~ except for with a large party for CRT b/c I 've heard you can't get it there. We never had a problem on the phone~ always got one ressie for our party of 11. But with the online system opening ealier than the phone system, I know it won't be avaible via phone by the time you can call.
Would you guys sugguest trying online for 2 or 3 ADRs for a party of 11?
