I just read the review on Cinderella's Royal Table on wdwinfo.com and it stated the party that dined there would not be allowed to take pictures with characters or have autographs signed. Is this the norm? I was thinking of surprising my DD and DS with a meal there, but not if this is true. We went to WDW last summer. It was my DS's (then 3) first trip! We purchased the Dining Plan and all of our reservations were character meals. The kids loved meeting all the characters and getting their autographs! The pictures I took are my favorite ones from the trip! We have already met Cinderella several times including a meal at The Grand Floridian. I hope this info. isn't true!
Help!!!!!

That may have been for dinner... dinner there is just a "show" with the Fairy Godmother and the mice, but they do not circulate around the tables like a normal character meal.

For lunch and breakfast, you will have princesses circulating, meeting, and signing.

We had dinner there and the mice came to the tables and we did get pictures with them.
Fairy Godmother was too busy and didn't come around.

That statement is just at dinner. The mice did come around for pictures when we were there in May 2008 (briefly), but the Fairy Godmother just comes out and twirls around the place while singing a song about celebrating special days. Godmother does not pause for pictures anywhere. You do get a posed picture with Cinderella downstairs before dinner - they deliver a nice presentation photo package while you're eating.

We were there in 2007 for Dinner. Fairy Godmother did come to the table to see us and we were able to snap pictures as it was a quick greet. Cinderella is down stairs to greet and you get to have pictures taken with her. I don't remember the mice stopping long at our table.

Like the pp's said, that the dinner.

For breakfast & lunch, Cinderella is downstairs in the castle and everyone waits in line to get a photo taken with her. During the meal, other princesses & princes do come to the table, talk to the kids, sign books and take photos -- just like every other character meal.

Breakfast is served family-style. Lunch lets you order from a menu (at a set price). We've done the breakfast several times, and we're trying the lunch in a couple of weeks! We really like the atmosphere of dining inside the castle -- it's just special for us.

You might want to check out the menus for B & L and decide based on what appeals to you the most.:)
