Which one is better all around? If you could only go to one, which one would would a 3 year old enjoy more?
We have done both, (breakfast & lunch) and for us it was all about the atmosphere! There is just something so increadibly magical and special about actually going inside the castle and meeting CinderellaThe food, well TBH I didnt pay that much attention, I was just so happy to be enjoying the whole thing.
I do distinctly remember what the food was like at the Norway breakfast, and I can safley say that we all thoroughly enjoyed it, we liked the self serve buffet with pastries and fruit, and the family style platter was a big hit, the kids loved the sausage links and even asked for more!
We certainly didnt feel rushed at the Norway breakfast, the Princesses spent ages with us having photos taken and signing books, and at the end of the meal our server was happy to just keep pouring the coffee, it wasnt as manic and chaotic as CRT. A very relaxed yet fun place with good food.
If I had to choose one for the food it would be Norway, if I had to choose one for the WOW factor and atmosphere it would be CRT. If you have to pick one or the other, the I would think every little girls dream would be to have breakfast inside the Castle wouldnt it? so that would be my choice![]()
Wow good review. Now I am really confused though!!![]()
So at Norway, do they actually read or something? Do either of them have anything special, or just princesses coming around to the table?
No, there isnt an actual storybook reading that takes place, just the princesses coming around the table. When you first go in you are taken to a special area and have your official photgraph with Belle (thats who it was in January anyway!) You can later purchase the package. She was all lovely in her gold dress and was very sweet, we had a lot of fun.
Then you are shown to your table and are served with juice/coffee/tea etc and told to help yourslef to the buffet while the server brings out the hot items on a platter, then you enjoy your breakfast and wait for the princesses to come around the tables. We loved Jasmine and Aurora![]()
Well....I have to say that for a 3 year old, I might save the castle until it had more impact. We just took my DD(2.5) to Askershus for lunch and it was awesome! The food was very good (we were surprised), the servers wonderful and we saw Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and Aurora! They were all very sweet and fun to talk with....My DD couldn't have cared less if the princesses were in a castle or an alley - she was just awestruck!![]()
We are planning on saving the Castle until my DD really "gets" going into the castle...thinking maybe 4 or 5?
DD is 3 and we are doing CRT. She LOVES the princesses especially Cinderella! DH is more excited than the kids!So am I!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't get me wrong, my DD loves the princesses too and she's only 2 1/2...but she really doesn't understand the whole castle thing...I think it's a little too abtract for her right now. We'll wait.Have a great time!
