Cinderella's Royal Table, I have some questions

Everything I have ever read about trying to get an ADR at CRT states that you MUST call at 0700 EST if you want a res at for the breakfast. The Unoffical Guide has an entire step by step process how how to manage the phone system. They recommend you call a couple of days before so that you can learn all the prompts on the system that way when you do call back the am of your reservation, you know what all the prompts are and you can easily bypass what you don't want to hear. Wasting time listening to prompts delays your changes of getting in the queue, they say.

I was told that by a CM what I called to book my room that the all dining ressies are now 90 days out now, even CRT and CM's.

I REALLY want to get a res for CRT when I go in August, but I can't be on the phone at 0600 CST. I have to go to work. I will try but if not, then I will settle for lunch or dinner.

Good luck in getting your reservation.:lovestruc

I know what you mean by having to wait forever to make dinning ressies. I called the number this am at 830ish and was on hold for over 25 mins before I decided to call the IPO for our CL BC stay in early June. I was glad I did too. I had never gone CL before and was leary to give it a try.

It worked like a dream. I was able to make the CRT dinner ressies for 3 of us for JUne 1st. Yeah!! I even tried calling the ressie line later in the day to see if I would get a quicker answer---nope was still on hold over 20 mins. Geesh. How flustering.

I hope everyone gets the ressies they want and I hope that I do not have such a difficult time making (non CL this time) ressies for us for our adult only return trip in Oct 2010.

I am thinking maybe the new dinning ressie thing is not a good thing for those not staying CL.

Gosh I really hope you all get your ressies you want.

Always try, Last August I was able to snag a last minute reservation for Dinner at Cinderellas Table the very next night, this was for 6 people...

I would like to suggest the Princess Storybook meals in Norway in Epcot - this is a great alternative if you can't get the castle. There are 5 princesses (or leading ladies) at all 3 meals and the photo package is included in the price. It's a little less expensive than the castle.

My DD5 loves Aurora - we have seen her at breakfast at the castle, breakfast (twice) in Norway, in France in Norway and in Toontown in MK.

lunch is not a buffet. The appetizer and desert are set and the entrees are limited. The food is pre plated so the meal moves quickly. The choices haven't changed in at least three years but we only go so often so it doesn't bother us. Major Domo's Favorite Pie is my personal favorite.

The experience is great. We have gone the last couple of trips and will be making our ADR in a couple of weeks for a June trip. My daughter will be almost six then and loves CRT.

Call every morning, right at the start of the day and see if a space opens up for breakfast. On a previous trip to Disney I didn't make any ADR's, but I woke up early during our vacation and called every day until, magically, an opening appeared! I popped the kids out of bed and we dashed to the castle for a wonderful breakfast. Perfect! Good luck!!!

I agree 100%. Although my family has never eaten a CRT, just about everyone I have spoken to when telling them we were going to WDW told us not to go there because it was a "rip-off". So instead I booked at the Norway princess place and it was great. You order off of a menu, but it also has an all you can eat cold bar, with meats, salads etc. It was very tasty and my kids loved the items off of the little bar. You can eat off of it as soon as you sit down, and all of the princesses are there. That would be my recommendation over CRT, unless, of course, you just HAVE to eat at the castle. Because CRT is all you can eat but you have to order seconds from the waiter/tress.:thumbsup2

Do not give up hope. I have called at night, and on the weekend. I have actually had three CRT reservations for our upcoming trip. I first booked breakfast, then a month later changed to dinner, then the next month, I changed to lunch. Give them a call! :cool1:

I called tonight - not sure exactly what time - maybe 5:30-6pm Eastern time and got right through. I was looking for reservation for CRT Dinner
May 18th - she listed 4 or 5 times that were available on my particular day. You certainly may get the reservation you want. Good luck.

Try calling, you never know. I know Feb. is super slow time, but I called a month out and they had all kinds of openings for my week. Can't hurt to try!

This thread is from almost a year ago...

does anyone else think it's odd when threads are resurrected?

How does it happen, anyway? I can never find a thread from 2 weeks ago, much less a year ago:lmao:

Gonna bring this one back up instead of starting a new thread..

Which meal is Cinderella actually at?? We want to be sure to do this while she was at the service ...but were planning on doing the BB boutique before hand and wanted to do this later in the day but didn't want to miss the chance to dine with Cindy...anyone?

At the castle - you will get your picture taken with Cinderella for all three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). For breakfast & lunch, there will be 4 other ladies in the dining room, stopping to chat, sign autographs, etc... For dinner - the fairy godmother and the mice do a short show, but they don't sign autographs. If you are looking to meet a lot of princesses, don't do dinner at the castle.

At Akershus, 5 princesses, all 3 meals.

Thanks but we really want the "experience" of eating at the castle at CRT...anyone know when CINDY roams the room the most?

At the castle, Cinderella does not visit in the dining room. She is posing for pictures just as you enter downstairs and that is where you meet her. She will sign autographs and pose for the official picture - and pose for any pictures you want to take with your camera. It's other princesses that "roam the room".

Just a FYI . I called to ask a question about the CRT and they are booking out PAST the 90 day window..upto June 19th at this time....I didn't get any of my ADR's that we wanted as I was told they were 90 days when I had called a few weeks ago..but I could have booked it at that time...so call now if your arriving before June 19th...also Chef Mickeys is the same...

I have done it before... someone searches for a thread in the forum search and very old threads pop up. And without looking at the start date, the discussion is continued.

I used to wonder about that too - then I started noticing, at the bottom of the page there is a box with a dog that talks about "related" topics - - and often they are 2 years old!!

I used to have luck with google using their "advanced search" function (you tell google to search disboards.com only!) but even that hasnt led to much success lately!! :confused3

I had that problem too! CRT was booked the whole week we are there, and it was just the day I could call. So yes, call before your 90 days, so you don't miss out as well!!

You should try 24-48 hrs before. It's only a 24 hr cancellation, but people think it's 48 like Akershus so you might get one that day. I was lucky and got one a few weeks in advance and then yesterday I got lucky and snagged a BBB 8:30 at MK. So, it works out great for my 10:20 breakfast. Good Luck. I call whenever I get a chance to see if they have any availability for my favorites.
