Is it true that on Cinderella's carousel, the horse with the flowers around it's neck is Cinderella's? My dd4 cried when she couldn't ride that specific horse because she was sure it was Cinderella's :confused3 Thanks!

Yup!! My DD waits for this specific horse every trip! :)

i'm not sure what i cant believe more...that a child would "cry" about riding a specific horse...or that someone KNOWS wich one is the "cinderella horse" :confused3

My DD (with her big sister's help), looked and looked for Cinderella's horse last time we were there. They couldn't find it, I told 'em to grab the nearest horse, and lo and behold, it was Cinderella's! She rode half of the ride before they figured it out. Her face was priceless!! One of those special little details that we try to do at least once, like finding the engagement ring outside of HM. Took us about 5 visits to MK and about 15 times thru HM before we finally found it! :teeth:

Some babies just disappoint easier than others! If I was 4 or 5 and didn't get to ride Pirates or Peter Pan, I might just cry as well!

Every antique carousel has one horse that is more richly embellished with 'trappings', or more ornate than the rest...this is considered the 'lead' horse.

I believe it. :) DS went thru a period when he was three & four where he had to ride the car with his age on it for each ride at BG...or he would get upset. He finally learned that all he had to do if he didn't get the car he wanted was wait for the next ride & stopped getting upset. By the time he was five he was fine with whichever car number he got.

We looked and looked for that ring so many times that I gave up. Then out of the blue one day, we're coming out of HM - had not even mentioned the ring. My DD (then 6) stops right in front of me - the kind where you almost trip over her - I was so aggravated until she said, "But Mommy! What's this?" Yup, she had found it. Was one of the highlights of that trip! :teeth:

Yep, I took a picture of that ring just in case we never found it again!!

I'm 45 and I cry if I don't get to ride Pirates and Peter Pan. :Pinkbounc

Cindy's horse is the one with the golden bow on the tail. She's number 37, and you can find her a couple rows behind one of the carriages.

On one trip, the CM at the carousel stopped my DD as she was getting off Cindy's horse. He said, "Did you know that you were riding a very special horse?" My DD smiled and said, "Yes, that's Cinderella's horse!" The look on his face was priceless. He was so disappointed. I felt sorry for him. He looked at me all forlorn and said, "Most people really don't know that." Poor guy! My Mom was with us and was cracking up at his expression!

On my last trip to WDW I was at the front of the line to be next on the carousel. I was discussing Cinderella's horse with my DH. (it is the one with the gold ribbon on its tail) The little girl behind me overheard and asked her Dad if she could have that horse. It just so happened that when the ride stopped, that horse was right in front of us. When getting on the ride, I took the horse behind Cinderella's horse and the child got on the prized horse.

She kept turning around and smiling. It was kind of magical.

When were there in March, I made sure I got on Cinderella's horse (I'm 33). My husband thought I was crazy, but I made him take a picture anyways. I was so excited. Sorry if I kept some little girl from riding it, but this big girl could not resist.

I am pretty sure we rode Cinderella's horse but just looking for confirmation.
