I'd heard this was a new character meal...dinner I think...with Cindy and the Stepmother and step sisters at 1900 Park Fare...

has anyone done this? Is it still going on? I haven't seen much about it on the boards, so I was just wondering if this was a Holiday thing only?

thanks!!!

opinions or not, I have an ADR for this meal as of five minutes ago!:cool1:

It should be fun!

We went in the first week of December and LOVED it so much... dd and I are going back in July during her birthday trip even though we will also be doing CRT (B) and Akershus (L)!

Dd is 6yo and was just beaming the entire evening. Prince Charming stopped by first and when he went to sign dd's autograph book he asked if he could save the first page for Cinderella because, "She comes first in my life in all things!"

Lady Tremaine and her daughters were equally in character. One of the sisters commented on how lovely dd looked (she was wearing a Cinderella dress) and then went on to whisper in her ear that she "always thought Cindy would look better as a brunette!"

Dd really was in her glory, it was her favorite meal out of our entire visit. She also loved the strawberry soup!

There were six adults in our party (my ILs live locally and my BIL/SIL visited that week as well) and they all enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

I highly recommend this character meal!

I'm so glad it's a fun meal! I know that my step daughter (a REAL one! But she's not wicked) is going to enjoy it! We were both thrilled to find Lady Tremaine and her daughters at the Pirate and Princess Party last year. I know that having a whole meal with them will be thrilling!!

When my SD met Lady Tremaine last year she said to her "This is MY step mom but she's NICE!"...clearly implying that Lady Tremaine was NOT nice!:lmao:

I think I'm going to do a BBB appointment earlier in the day so we can be all princessed up for our dinner with Cindy herself!:cool1:

I ate at 1900 Park Fare when it was Cinderella's Gala Feast. The food was great, you must try the Strawberry Soup! I have also heard that the addition of the Stepmother and sisters is great. Have fun!

I will be doing the new dinner in July. I can't wait!

We have an ADR for dinner on the 21st of March. I am so looking forward to it. I can't wait to see what antics the step sisters are up too. Maybe I can get one of them to sing "Nightingale" with me. :rotfl2: I've been practicing it with my best Anastasia voice. :rotfl2:

We did this a few weeks ago, the step sisters were a real hoot and the food was great :thumbsup2

Does anyone know the cost of this meal?? I would love to take DD there, she would just love it!

We just did this in Jan.'08-our kids loved it!!! The step sisters were a riot and really played the parts well!!! I think it is worth doing once!!! Plus it is in the GF-always fun to see!!!

Thanks for posting this-I had no idea it existed! I love the wicked stepmother and stepsisters-I think they are an absolute riot:rotfl2:

I would love to do this during our next trip, but would it be weird for just two adults-DBF & me? or is it geared more towards little kids?

Do the characters just go table to table meeting with you or is there more involved? We've only done "nonspeaking" character meals-never done one with a "human character"

Oh no. I do meals all the time (even solo), and I am an adult. Character meals are so much fun.
