On the Picture of the Day thread, someone posted a really cool shot of an amazing dessert. It looks like a white chocolate glass slipper with different flavors of mousse. My DD's went crazy over it, and I don't know if it's something that's still offerred.

I have to know, is it a regular dessert now? Or was it just for the premiere of Twice Charmed?

What was in the shoe - mousse? Ice cream?

I'm dying to know... anyone?

I don't know if you can get this dessert on the cruise - my DH and I had it last October when we were at WDW and it was divine! You have to pre-order it from the Grand Floridian bakery - as far as I know that's the only resort that it gets served at.

So yummy... vanilla cream filling, white chocolate shoe, raspberry sauce...I wish I was eating one right now! :teeth:

We didn't have it on the 7/9/05 cruise. That night was regular rotational dinner menu for us. I'm guessing it was something special for the Repo cruise. This dessert is available for order from the GF bakery and you can get a dark chocolate clipper with mousse from Cinderella's Royal Table for dessert at dinner.

We had this dessert on our 4/30 Magic sailing. I'm not sure but I think it was new and on the trial menus we had. It wasn't very good, IMO. The mousse was very sour tasting.

Can't tell you if it is now a permanent menu item on Twice Charmed Night. I had it on the Repo cruise and I thought it looked a lot better than it tasted. If I remember correctly, there were two different flavors of mousse and as married2grumpy said it was a the best tasting. As we were walking out of the restaurant, I did see a lot of white chocolate shoes sitting on tables with varying amount of mousse in them.

We had this dessert on our May 7-14 Magic cruise. It was on Sunday evening and the menu was the 'Prince and Princess Dinner' in Animator's Palate. Yes, it was white chocolate with the bottom dipped in milk chocolate and there were three flavors of 'mousse' which I felt was more like a sorbet because it was cold and melted quickly. As I recall, it was tasty but it sure wasn't chocolate lava cake or chocolate souffle. Those are to die for!
