Dear DVCrs,

I posted this on the Family boards, with no real responses, and was hoping that a fellow DVC member would have an idea about this...

We are making priority seating arrangements for Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare, and were wondering if anyone had any comments about the food / atmosphere... Does Cinderella come to the table, is she dressed in a ball gown? We will be down there in June.

That is our FAVORITE dinner buffet on property!!!

The godmother is in the lobby while you wait to be seated, and Cinderella, the Prince, and Suzy and Perla come around to your table. Cindy is in her blue ballgown.

The food is really good (as far as buffet food goes). They always have a selection of seafood (usually steamed clams and shrimp), prime rib, sometimes turkey, and many other yummy things.

All the food is divided into "counters"...there is a bread area, a salad bar, a seafood bar, a "hot dish" bar, a "made to order" pasta bar, and a carving bar. The kids also have their own bar with pizza, corn, french fries, mini-corn dogs (the same ones they sell on main st.), and the WDW famous mac 'n cheese (needless to say...I eat a lot off of the kids' bar). There is also a desert bar with lots of yummy baked goods, and a self-serve soft serve ice cream machine with toppings.

It is really good!!! This has become our destination of choice on the night we arrive (and, then we usually end by watching Illuminations at Epcot)....what a way to "kick off" a vacation!!! And, I leave in 36 hours!!! :cool1: :cool1:

I can't wait!!!

I hope this helps!

We loved this dinner, too. But do know that the only guaranteed character is Cinderella. We have seen Mary Poppins in the lobby instead of the Fairy Godmother, and I have heard of occasions when Prince Charming was not there. Technically the characters are "Cindy and Friends" which leaves it wide open.

The food has always been wonderful when we've eaten there. Service has also been very good, and the character interaction seems more relaxed than Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace.

Enjoy your trip!

This is a must do dinner for us every trip. We love the food selection there. Everything is always delicious. Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the mice were there in July when we went. We are doing this for our first nights dinner in April and I can't wait.

The characters have always been nice, but we go for the great selection on the buffet.

Thank you all, very much. We can't wait to get down there. We have only 87 days to go!
