How do you go about getting your wedding in or around Cinderellas castle? I know this is every woman's dream so I know it will prolly be too expensive but i didn't see it on the list of places you can reserve.. thanks!!

If you look at Disneys wedding website it is listed there. The curent price for this year is $500,000.00 and no I didn't add too many zeros lol. It is pricey but it can be done.. the minimum before this year used to only be $50,000.00 but I think they are trying to discourage guests from using that location.

are you sure that you didn't add too many zeros!!!!!! haha that's crazy - so much for cinderellas castle huh

Skylarr29 is right, 1/2 a million just for the location! That does not include reception.
Must be nice if you havethat kind of money. I would love to see a magic kingdom wedding.

You can always do a Magic Kingdom photo shoot. It's decently priced and you get photos in front of the castle in your wedding attire.

I've heard that the reason it cost so much is because they have to close the park for the wedding and that doesn't even come close to the amount they lose for shutting it down! I think there's still a way to do it after the park closes, but you'd have to ask Disney that question, they're always changing the rules! ;)

win the lottery or marry a millionaire :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's crazy prices, but like previously posted, the MK photoshoot is within most budgets at $800 and there's no one else there so it's pretty much a very close 2nd to a wedding there.

They dont close the park!! You have to have your wedding on a day that the park is scheduled to close early and the event has to start atleast 2 hours after the park has closed! So it would be an evening only thing!

Laura is right, they don't close the park...I think the main reason for the price is to deter people from using the location because of all the technicalities involved.

see but i heard that you can't even get married infront of Cinderella's Castle unless it's AFTER park hours.

who knows. :confused3

Have you all heard that brides.com is running a contest where they will GIVE AWAY a WDW wedding in front of Cinderella's Castle, along with a reception. got to brides.com/brides for the entry form. Contest end Dec. 10.

TLC

I want to win the lottery so I can have my VR at Cinderella's Castle! LOL- I'd make it SO worth it for Disney to allow it. I'd spend so much money! pixiedust: Haha, yeah, I've been married less than 2 months, and I'd already do a vow renewal!

For the heck of it, DH and I figured out the cost of a YEAR at DW!! It was about $150K. If we *ever* won the lottery, we're SO doing that!

A girl can dream :)
