I've booked to do the Cinderella's Breakfast one morning, and they told me that the price increase was due to a new photo package that is included. Has anyone done this yet? What are the photos like?

I've actually gotten 2 different stories about it so I hope someone does know--I was told that you get your picture taken in the hall before the breakfast then they come around to your table during the meal to offer you a package-Both ppl at 800 w disney agreed on that--but where they differed was 1 said you don't get any free pics just an offer to purchase a package whereas the other told me you get 1 free pic then you can purchase other sizes. So I'm still a little lost on it--I'm almost afraid to call them back and see what the newest news is!!!

I have adrs for may... but what I was told was you get a photo package and that is included in the price. 1-5 parties get one set, which is what we are. Prolly like a group shot then 4 4X6's? maybe. But the pics are included.

We had breakfast in the castle on 2/1 with an 8:20 ADR.

We were rushed through our meet n greet with Cindy as was everyone else...I held up the line and allowed my child to have a few extra moments because seriously the whole trip had been building to these moments. My daughter wanted to ask Cindy about the mice since she loves the mice from Cinderella. It ended up being a great question because the mice are way up high peeking out. (just ask and Cindy will point them out)

The food was sub par but that has been mentioned here numerous times. It is a bit distracting trying to eat and have character interactions....

It is fun to be in the castle and eat and see the princesses but oh so not worth the price! Its a shame its so outrageous!

As for the pictures.....we received a folder with an 8x10 of the castle and an 8x10 of my daughter and Cindy. Its not a great pic because it was so rushed. We also received 4 - 4x6 pics. They just give this to you and there is no options....its just a set thing.

Since we were there 2/1 and it was the first day of it we were done and had our character interactions and STILL waiting to receive these pictures.....several other tables had been brought theirs....It was just a bit after 9am and we wanted to get out to the parks....Our server was very helpful and went and tracked down our pictures. He said they were running behind...that's a glitch they will need to fix.

My DD also received a wishing star pin and wand. They did a cute thing and I have a precious picture of her making a wish. She was making wishes all day :tink:

One other interesting tidbit which I assume was a mistake but curious if this happened to anyone else. We were only charged 1 credit per person???? We didn't even realize till that night when my DH was unloading his pockets with receipts etc and saying we have so many TS left and I said that's not right and we figured out the difference was with CRT...interesting........So of course we called dining and made another ADR. It made the castle experience that much better for us because it is not worth 2 credits!!

Okay that's my experience from February 1

How come you only got one pack of photos? Surely the price is the same whether you go on your own or in a group. There's three of us going, but we're individual adults, and wanted individual photos.

It's only one photo package for parties up to 6 people (at least I'm pretty sure it's 6)

That is interesting. I never thought about that. For example, if i was going with three of my girlfriends for a mothers weekend, we are sitting together, but we are from 3 different families and all paying seperately. Does that mean we can only have one pic per party? I don't think that it is fair. I have reservations with my mom, DD's and myself and i would like two separate pics of my children. For the price they increased you would think they could do that. I think that it is a shame that the pictures aren't optional. For the price increase, it really is a rip off!!! I think they just wanted to find a reason to increase the price that much.We have never eaten at the castle and so i wanted to do something special for my daughter's and mother on mother's day weekend.

Hi Wish3...Thanks for your review...we will be going to breakfast this Friday with DD(2) and DMIL...DD is a HUGE princess fan...which characters were at breakfast?
thanks..
Holly

Well, I just double-checked this and yep, one photo package for parties up to 4. I tried to explain that we're an adult group and diff families, and surely as we're all paying the extra we should be able to find a way to get extras - I was basically told 'tough'. As a cast member myself, I really wasn't impressed with the tone or lack of suggestions from the cast member I spoke to about it. I was even trying to find out if there was a way to purchase more at reasonable rate...and didn't get an answer :-( I was really looking forward to this breakfast because of the setting, etc...now it's beginning to feel like a big rip-off.
