Just recieved word through Tour Guide Mike that reservations for Cinderella's breakfast can now be made 90 days in advance. I actually made a reservation for 10/8 at 3:00 in the afternoon today. I'm so excited and still can't believe it.

I thought it was such a great thing, I just had to share. Good luck to all those who still need to reserve!!!

What time will you be there? We got PS for 9am :)

Laurie, still ever-so-happy about it!! :)

Cool! We'll look for you. My girls will be dressed as Cinderella and Ariel (in her wedding gown, not her mermaid outfit :) and I'll be the one with the camcorder on one eye and the camera on the other - LOL :) I hope we all have a wonderful time!

Laurie :)

Although happy to see someone will be at the CRT in October I am also very disappointed that my daughter will not be seeing it.

This is her (and our families) first trip to Disney which we have saved for ever since I took her to Princesses on Ice and saw the look in her eyes when she saw them....MAGIC!

I was told when we booked our trip what dates I should call for a PS at certain events or character breakfasts. I wrote them all down and upon calling today (being 60 days from our date of arrival) for CRT seating I was told that they had changed their policy and there is not one PS available during our stay (7 days).

Needless to say I am very disappointed. Apparently there is another breakfast with some of the Princesses, however that is also unavailable.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am trying not to get too down about it, but she is 7 yrs old and by the time we are able to go again the Princesses most likely will have lost that ...MAGIC...to her.

Thanks:(

JillieGirl-

Definitly book the princess storybook breakfast in Norway as a backup. You will have 5 princesses there, and it gets alot of good feedback. In fact we are trying it this year instead of Cindys, and I knew I could book cindys on monday for any day during our Oct trip. Remember cancellations do happen with Cindy's, and you may just luck out w/some persistance! I would call often at least a few times a week if it is really important to you to eat at the castle, and make an extra effort w/multiple calling 2 days and 1 day before each date you are able to attend even while you are on vacation. There is a 24hour cancel/no show fee, so people will cancel as their plans change.

I believe there is a Cinderella ball dinner at the Grand Floridian also, but that would be just Cinderella as far as princesses go. I know it is new, but it is another option :)

Best of luck to you! I hope you luck out w/a reservation! Remember the Norway breakfast is a nice alternative, so book it if it is available! It is not eating in the castle at the MK, but it is a castle none-the-less filled w/ 5 beatifully dressed princesses for your daughters enjoyment :)

JillieGirl, I am so sorry :(

I would never have known about the change either if it weren't for the DIS (and my awesome DU agent!). I have been researching Disney info since April and this is by far the richest, most accurate source. I will second the "don't give up yet" advice! Keep calling, a cancellation may happen - even when you get there, keep trying. Also, it is possible to find the princesses out in the parks. I understand Belle is often in France at Epcot, Snow White in Germany, etc. Also, Toontown in MK is a possibility for finding them.

My soon-to-be 7 yr old dd requested the Norway breakfast for her birthday as it has more princesses than CRT. Maybe you can still get that one. Younger dd only cares about Cinderella, so if I couldn't have gotten CRT, I was going to get the Park Fare dinner for her.

I feel so bad for you and all the others who were given outdated information. I hope you are able to get the PS after all, and even if you don't, I hope you find many opportunities to see that magical look in your dd's eyes! Pixie dust for you!!!

...and >>^..^<<, don't worry, I'll put down the cameras after the princesses leave our table ;)

Laurie :)

Jilliegirl, I'm sorry that they changed the dates and you missed out. Keep trying back, though.

However, even if you don't get to eat with the princesses, you still have plenty of chance to see them in the parks. There is usually one hanging out in Toontown with the other characters. We saw quite a few just roaming around.

JillieGirl ~

So sorry that you missed out on breakfast at CRT.

We have made ps for 1900 Park Fare mainly due to the excellent reports that is receives on the DIS. I know that this cannot make up for not eating in the castle but at least Cinderella and Prince Charming would be there.
