i totally agree....this one is a total waste of time and space..

one of the things we love about WDW shows are the singers....
where is the quality of Hunchback of Notre Dame (where the singers were unbelievable)...

Oh am I with you on Hunchback, right after Festival of the Lion King, I thought that was the best show they ever did, I was CRUSHED when I went and saw it was all closed up. A friend of mine has a banner from the show that she bought at MGM, it almost makes me cry to see it hanging in her home! Bring back those great shows Disney!!!

I saw Cinderellabration this month (didn't plan on it, just the right time, right place kinda thing) with my 2 sons and we all just LOVED it! The colors were magnificent, the dancing and characters awesome.

I took like 20 pictures and they were all amazing. We all loved this show, and I have talked about it to several people as a highlight.

Funny how different people find different pleasures at the world. Good thing Disney does a lot of different things to accomodate everyone. :goodvibes

I feel exactly the same way. It's not the best show they've ever had (I admit, Cinderella's Surprise Celebration is my favorite), but I liked it. It really is beautiful, and seeing some of the characters that you just don't usually see as much of like the King, Grand Duke, and the Princes is a thrill at least to me. Everyone's different, I guess.

It was just o.k. for us. It is always nice to see all the princesses togher in one spot but I wouldn't go see it again.

None of us in my family particularly liked it. In fact DD8 still makes fun of it! I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.

[If you really get jazzed over the plot-lines of Teletubbies, at the pace of the Barney show, THIS is the castle show for you!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
You have me LOL!

I Love it! Cause while everyone is standing there watching it, I walk right past it and into Fanstasyland or Liberty Square! LOL!

Well, I have to admit, I want to see what all the disappointment and hub-bub is about, so I'll be interested to catch it this year. However, we'll be in the back, so if we get bored to tears... we'll go drown our sorrows on Splash Mountain instead. ;)

BRING BACK CINDERELLA'S SURPRISE CELEBRATION!!!
:hyper:
Best. Show. Ever. (castle show, anyway)

I think the very old "Magic Mickey Mouse" show was better even than Surprise. They even televised it as part of a special on the 10th anniv. of WDW. Maybe I am just too old, been going for sooooo many years.

I love Cinderellabration! I think the show and costumes are great. It was crowded everytime we went to see it (we have been to Disney 3 times this year) Everytime we go the little girls in the audience look so happy because they get to see their favorite Disney Princess, maybe its just not for some of the adults here, afterall I think the show is meant for the little ones. I especially like the looks on the kids faces when they have the fireworks at the end. My dd who is 16 loves it, and so do her friends that have seen it. We went this last time with a 3 year old and an 11 year old, both girls loved it as did the hundreds of people around us. I especially love looking at the costumes which are beautiful, Cinderellas is great, but Belle has the most beautiful dress!

You know what I liked best? When they didn't have a stage and all those ugly lights and equipment set up and you could actually walk through the castle pretty much any time and take really nice photos of the castle without "stuff" in the way.

OK, so I'm not much for the shows...I saw part of Cinderellabration in May when I was visiting CP DD and it was kind of "eh" from where we were standing. It was hard to see and I heard a lot of people complaining that they couldn't make out who was who, but that Mickey is recognizable even from a distance.

I LOVE your pictures! I love Cinderellabration. I love the music, and I love being able to see all the princesses and princes in one place. I do miss Cinderella's Surprise Celebration, but I can make do with Cinderellabration. (BTW, thelionqueen, I am friends with Belle in your picture).

I miss the older shows. I also think this show is missing all the magic: music, costuming and as story line. When I look at the Pictures of the Surprise Celebration show in your photo album, it reminds me how much better it was.

DD - who will be three next month - loved Cinderellabration when we were there last week. She talks about it all the time. I love hearing her say the word. I thought it was okay but nothing special.

We were disappointed. NO catchy music or story to really follow. It was nice seeing the princesses all dressed up and together. After seeing it once we don't care to see it again. Too sad :sad1: since we always caught Cinerella's Surprise Celebration when we were in the park--could watch that one over and over and over and over...

I thought the colors made the pictures just amazing too, thanks for the compliment. BTW, if you are friends with the Belle in my pic. tell her that just last night (Sunday) my cousin and I were saying how beautiful she was. She truly is a Belle and we hate her :rotfl2: (just kidding, just jealous)! :wave2:

OK, I do have a picture from this where Cinderella is getting crowned by the king. It is neat to have.
