We went and got some yummy food at the CS Yak and Yeti

i do believe this is when memom or jill called us and then sent us a pic of jill's ultrasound on erica's phone. so cool! by the way, that food was decent but it was really hot (temperature-wise) and sitting there eating it outside on a hot day was just......ugh!!!

Dawn dumped her frozen lemonade in her lunch ....I think we were pouring the melted part off since it was SO hot there was quite a bit that melted!

that's exactly what i was doing and....plop.....my entire frozen lemonade goes right into my leftover food! i just ate the bottom off of it that was sticking up.

We rode Kali....can't you tell

okay....another "dawn gets annoyed" story related to kali! i had wore gym shorts under that sundress because i knew at some point either the wind would blow it up or it would get hung up on my bag or something. so as we wer walking through the line at kali i look behind me and see this woman coming up behind me, laughing and pointing at my butt. well, i felt to see if my dress was crawling up and of course it was, but it wasn't even up enough for you to see my gym shorts - it kept getting kind of stuck under my bag and as i would walk it would creep up...no biggie because i was wearing shorts anyway. but my thinking is this woman didn't realize i was wearing shorts and was making fun of me. my thought is, as a nice, considerate person, instead of pointing and laughing, i would say, "excuse me, ma'am, but your skirt is caught on your bag." but no.....she points and laughs. nice, huh? so i turned to her and said, "i'm wearing shorts under my dress....just so you know i'm not going to flash you or anything." she was shocked because she didn't see that i saw her pointing - she was too busy laughing and showing her friend what she thought she saw. she looked mortified and said something really nice....but in fake way. i didn't even let her finish her statement, just turned around and mumbled something else. i don't remember what i said but erica says she thinks i said something like, "yeah....real nice to point and laugh instead of telling me." it made me so mad! but i guess i should listen to ray - he tells me that not everyone thinks the way i do and that most people in this world aren't considerate of others.

There were some firsts for me today at AK....Nemo was one!

nemo was a first for me too and i loved it!

We took the back seat this time. Another thing I've never done before. It was very nice to be looking out the back with no one in your way but ~WARNING~ it was VERY bumpy

bumpy is an understatement! i swear to you that my backside bounced off the seat at least 12 inches more than once!

And these are Dawn's favorite guys. They are really cool. We stood for awhile and watched them.

but i do have to mention that i was pleased with the georgia-georgia tech game today. i always pull for the underdog in that game, which is georgia tech 99 percent of the time, and they WON today!!!! i was really excited for them! and it was a GREAT game. so congrats to any tech fans out there!

OT I know but I have to ask this group of southern football fans.

What are people's feelings on Auburn hiring Chizek as their new coach? I am from Iowa orginally and grew up an ISU fan and I am wondering what in the world Auburn was thinking? He has only been at ISU for 2 years, has a terrible record and has lost the last 10 games in a row! I personally don't care he is leaving Iowa State, we could really use a decent coach but honestly, from ISU to Auburn is a step up, how in the world did he do that with his track record?

I think it is crazy, but apparently Louder (I think he is the president or something) wanted someone in there to do his bidding, just like the AD does. He tried to get rid of Tuberville before...had Bobby Petrino waiting in the plane or something a few years back but it didn't get done. As a UGA fan, getting rid of Tuberville is only a good thing as far as wins for the other SEC teams. According to all the talk, Louder was just waiting for an excuse o get rid of Tommy cuz he doesn't bow to Louder's wishes.

I think Chizik is just the usual horrible coach hire right after a big coaching fire. He'll probably be there like 2 years, do horrible and then be replaced by somebody decent. They just hired Gus Malzahn (previously at Arkansas) as their Offensive Co. Watch him end up with the job in a few years or something. I know they tried to hire Stacey Searles from UGA for that position but he turned it down, as did Rodney Garner from UGA for the head coaching job. They did not want a part of that sinking ship!

Yeah! I finally caught up!! It took me all afternoon and evening b/c I am on my old, slow laptop, as opposed to my faster PC, b/c I was reading and watching football at the same time. Oh, I also slipped a nap in..lol. Great TR so far! Next I need to go over and read your Christmas TR Dawn. But I should probably do that another day and go to bed! Anyway, I should be able to keep up a little better now that college football is almost over, NFL is down to just the playoff games, I hate basketball, don't watch hockey, and baseball doesn't start for months...lol!
