I was looking over my ADR and I didn't like that I have 2 BOG breakfasts scheduled. I do want early access to the park in the hopes of fewer people on Main St. for photos and early Mine Train rides. I found a CRT 8:10 available and I snagged it, cancelling one BOG. I plan to pay OOP for it. It is for me and my 11 year old son who does not care at all about the princesses, but was very fascinated last Disney visit with the castle and really wanted to see inside. I was hoping this would fulfill that without all the little girls overly done up. Also, is the food fairly good at breakfast? With an 8:10, will be be out of there before RD and get to the rides? Thanks. I hope I didn't mess up.

The food isn't bad by any means.

But I wouldn't expect to be out of there quickly. Even with an ADR it can take a bit to be seated and then the service can move a bit slower in order to compensate for the princesses appearing. They usually start letting people into the park a bit earlier than right at 9. (If they don't change the hours to 8 depending on when you're going) So You'd have to be in and out of CRT in 40 minutes or less.

BoG would have been an easier bet on getting in, eating and out if your plan is only for rides.

If you are rushed like we were at CRT breakfast, than you should have no problem getting out in time! :rotfl:

Seriously though, it was the most rushed meal we've ever experienced in wdw. The food isn't bad, we all had the traditional breakfast and the portion was quite small.

Everyone in my party of 5 had very positive things to say about their breakfast at CRT. I don't know if you'll be out of there in 50 minutes. First there's the line downstairs to meet Cinderella. Then you go upstairs and get seated and meet the other princesses while dining. I think it was more like 90 minutes for us start to finish.

It's true it can take some time to get actually into the restaurant but our food came out absurdly fast! I think if you want to get out of there quickly you definitely can! You could also tell the host when you arrive that you're not interested in meeting Cinderella, it might do nothing but maybe they can bring you up faster? It's a pretty amazing experience, even if you are a little late for RD it's still super fun to ride the teeny tiny elevator and see the inside!

I agree...our server acted like he couldn't get us out of there fast enough....we barely got to see the whole group of princesses he made us feel so rushed. I had to wonder if it was because gratuity was included in this one that he felt he didn't have to do anything but push us on through.

Is breakfast at CRT also 2 Table Service credits? I know dinner is.

We did CRT last year at WDW, it was the worst meal we had of our trip! The eggs were runny, we were very rushed. Drinks not refilled. We waited for our tab to come and when the waiter finally came over he said we were good and could leave. For the price of the meal it is not worth it. Id rather have spent that money on something other than memories of what not to do on a trip. The breakfast is basic I think a BOG breakfast would be the same food and faster.
