We are leaving in 5 days :cheer2: and have decided to buy my DD2 a cinderella dress for our lunch at CRT. How do the dresses run? She is wearing a size 2T-3T. Should I go w/ an XXS? I am planning on going to the disney store tomorrow.

They are all different based on where you buy them (for example, Target versus the Disney Store versus Downtown Disney). I would recommend slipping it on over her head to see how it fits at the store, just to be sure.

I took my DD4 to the Disney store yesterday. We looked at the Cinderella costumes, but I only held them up to her.

I would go ahead and get the XXS for her. It will probably come between mid-calf and her ankle since she is only 2, but it should fit pretty well.

The 4 came to mid-calf on my daughter, but she has long-ish legs.

She got the XXS Belle and XXS Jasmine costumes the past two years and she can still fit into them pretty much.

I bought a disneystore dress for my daughter (from Santa) for her 3rd birthday breakfast with Cinderella this past Christmas Day. She is tall but skinny. I bought the XXS 2/3 size and it fit perfectly with a white t-shirt under it. It started getting hard for her to put on an off in only a few months. She can still wear it now but it is really tight and she is still wearing 2T and some 3T clothing. I found it fit much smaller than most sizes. I might consider buying one size bigger, at that point the only consideration would be the length. I would look at the size difference between the two at the store and buy the bigger one if the length is not too long.

Hope that helps some. I know I asked on this board too before I bought it too.

My DD is older, but I always went a size up. The dress would be long but I would just pin it up. She has had one dress for a little over 2 years now. It has held up really well.

I seems to me that the Disney Store dresses are very long this year. bought my 6yr old niece a size 10/12 (her 7/8 from last year is tight) and it drags on the ground. How are you supposed to hem tulle? Hopefully she will grow in the next 2 months. princess:

Ugh - I searched all over - walmart, target, kbtoys, toysrus and I couldn't find one in my DD's size. We are leaving on Saturday and I had no choice but to go to TDS. The dress, crown and shoes cost me $65. I would never normally spend that much but I am crunched for time. She will wear it for Halloween as well and then I'll sell it on ebay. Thanks for all of your advice. The XXS fits her perfectly. CRT here we come~~ :cheer2: 4 days to go and we are busting at the seams with excitement!! :yay:

Glad you got one that fits. Have a wonderful trip.

My daughter loves her photo from CRT with her dressed in her Cindy dress. I just ordered her a Aurora one from Disney Direct tonight for our upcoming trip.

We have numerous Disney Store and WDW princess costumes, and I think their sizing runs rather small. Glad to know you found one to fit your daughter. Have a great time!

Thanks everyone :)
Beachwarmer - I LOVE the Aurora dress - it's beautiful - my DD is still too little to know who she is yet. Maybe next year:)
