I might be in the wrong place to be asking this but this was the only place I could think of.

Anyways my fiancee and myself are getting married in june and I'm curious if there is a Cinerella's Castle cake topper, that actually looks like the castle in MK or something close to it. The DF, has said the one she's seen are ugly and doesn't like them. So I'm trying to take some incentive here and find one. Any ideas?

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! Just a suggestion....instead of "Googling" Cinderella's Castle Cake Topper.....try, "Cinderella's Castle collectible". Thre are many very pretty figurines out there. It really doesn't have to be a true "cake topper" to sit on top of a cake. Many of my friends have used "Lladros" and other things. Good luck! I know you'll find something beautiful. It would be a great surprise as a Valentine's day gift!:lovestruc

Actually if you go to disneystore (you know with a .com after it...since I can't post a link ;o)
Under choose a category, click Disney Parks and then under that, choose the subcategory of collectibles. There is a pretty castle there.

We were at WDW in November to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. As a surprise for my wife I sent a photo of our original wedding cake to the GF bakery several weeks ahead of our visit. They were able to duplicate it with the exception that our original cake had white roses for the topper and for the anniversary cake I ordered a Cinderella Castle topper. They did a magnificent job. . . here's the result.

On the night of our actual anniversary we had dinner with our children at Victoria & Albert's. To my surprise, the cake was personally presented by the GF pastry chef and Executive Chef Scott Hunnel (nice touch on their part). And no, we didn't eat the entire cake ourselves, we shared it with both sittings and the staff at V&A.

The topper is SOLID white chocolate and we still have some of it in our refrigerator (somewhat diminished) as we brought it home and are gradually devouring it to make the memory last.

The topper is not inexpensive. . . the charge for adding it on the cake was $110. However, considering the occasion it was well worth it for us. If your wedding is not taking place at WDW you might call the GF Cake Hotline and find out if they will ship one to you.

congrats on your 50th! The cake looks spectacular, as i can imagine sharing that experience with your family was also. Good Luck

Try googling with "Lenox"...it's a brand that makes a lot of Disney cake toppers/figurines.

We purchased a nice crystal castle which wasn't labeled as a "cake topper" at DisneyWorld 5 years ago...they are sold in places like germany in epcot and on main street in MK. We liked the look better than the ceramic type pieces. You may find something nice that wasn't specifically designed to be a cake topper, but will work as one. I think you can get them at DTD too.

I found several on ebay when planning my wedding a couple of years ago - which I cancelled. I ended up buying a beautiful Sleeping Beauty topper that lights up....and it's still in the box in the top of my sister's closet!! :lmao:

I typed in Cinderella wedding on ebay and found LOTS of stuff for a Cinderella theme.

Sorry bout the delay...thanks for the ideas...will do some searching, see what I can come up with.

btw didn't know there was a weddings board, would of gone there to begin with lol but once again thanks for the advice.
