Have just booked Cinderella Royal Table breakfast for my two DD and myself in January.
DH and DS not going! We have a hire car - Can DH drop us off at MK and go elsewhere for morning and pick us up later without having to pay parking? Or if he has to pay, can I assume he wont have to pay again when he comes back to collect us. Would it be better to leave us at one of the disney resorts and we go to MK on Disney transport?
Sorry if this is a silly question!
Why not have him drop you off at the entrance to the parking lot of the Contemporary Resort. You can then walk from there into the MK.
The easiest thing would be to turn into the Contemporary Resort. Tell the guard he's just dropping you off right there. Then your husband will pull out of the lot and you can walk down the walkway to the Magic Kingdom.
To get to the CR, you have to drive through the parking booths of the MK. Just tell them you're on your way to the Contemporary Resort for a fishing trip or breakfast or whatever. They'll let you drive on through. You should go through the toll booths on the right hand side.
alternatively, you can go through the same right hand booths and continue to the TTC drop off area. This is NOT in the TTC parking lot. You go to the right hand toll booths and continue as if you're going to the MK hotels. At the first light you turn left (towards the GF, Poly, SOG and the Kennels).
after turning left, the first thing on the right are the kennels. Just after that, also on the right, is the drop off lot for the TTC. You can't park there, only drop off.
From there, you and your daugthers take either the boat or the monorail to get to the MK.
Leave a LOT of time to get to Cinderella's Castle. From the time your husband drops you off at the TTC to the time you get to the castle, you should leave yourself about 30 to 45 minutes. 45 minutes is safer.
From the CR, you can leave yourself just 20 to 30 minutes.
Remember that you need an entrance ticket to the MK to eat at Cindy's.
