I love these threads. My company offers a health care plan that I of course pay for and that's how it should be for everybody.
Unions are a plague that have damaged the US for far too long. Look at what they've done to GM and Ford. It's no wonder those two auto makers build most of their vehicles in Canada and Mexico.
I don't mind if other people want to join unions. Personally, I would never do it. What I would spend in union dues I happily put towards my medical insurance. It also ensures the longevity of my employer which of course ensures MY employment.
I always cross picket lines. If the Disneyland Hotel staff goes on strike and Disney has to resort to scabs, you better believe I'll be checking in and tipping big.
