Cinderella: a major error in the movie (do you agree)?

I always think of it as a silvery ice blue color. Probably easier and more consistent to make it the light blue color for merchandising.

Also the wedding dress is obviously white at the end. Maybe some people remember that :confused3

Blue. I saw the movie in the theater (they had a theater run in the early 70s) as a kid, and even though we had to leave b/c the stepsisters were freaking me out too much (sensitive kid), when I played Cinderella as a kid, it was when I wore a blue dress.

We have the DVD and VHS...we'll pop both in later today and see what the color looks like between the two.

(why my husband owned the VHS version of Cinderella before we met and had a kid I will *never* know...)

It's definatly not a pure white dress, since you can see the white underneath. And it does look much more blue when she's outside in the moonlight with the prince, and more of a silvery blue before that.

This thread is wacky! her dress is absolutely blue...a light blue for sure, but definitely blue.

We have the VHS and DVD, and it's light blue in both. Light blue to me is NOT white.

I think you need to adjust your tv - the dress is definitely blue.:confused3

No, no, no! You have it all wrong! :goodvibes

Her ballgown is the most exquisite dove gray. It only looks blue in the moonlight. But it is definitely a shimmery gray.

To heck with you all...it's PINK:
