Cinco de Mayo menu ideas thread. Post what you are making. Also congratulations to our southern neighbor for kicking out The French (even though they were technically retreating due to issues in Europe but a win is a win I guess). I’m not Mexican by the way, but I do have Spaniard heritage.

We usually sometimes eat Mexican food on Cinco De Mayo and my mom has a huge weakness for enchiladas and she loves cheese enchiladas a lot and I usually love quesadillas and burritos especially bean burritos and my dad loves burritos too. I also love tostadas and also the soups are delicious too

I have family members with food allergies so can’t really have salt or seasoning or dairy so we will be having tacos with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and soy sour cream, some type of rice either pilaf or long grain and wild, and tortilla chips plain for them with mild salsa for me. We might go to Rita’s for dessert.

Put some Pico de Gallo on top of the wurst instead of sauerkraut, and you have a Mexican hotdog.
