Cinco de Mayo Meet - list added 3/15

Calling all Disers who will be in THE World on May 5!!! Several of us going the first week of May decided it would be fun to get together!

WHO: Any disers are welcome (along with their travelling companions of course)

WHAT: Margaritas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo

WHEN: May 5 at noon

WHERE: the Tequila Cave in the Mexico pavillion in Epcot


anyone is welcome to drop by at the last minute but if you are planning to come, it would be nice to introduce ourselves here first so we know who to look for...

I'm Katie. I live in Iowa with my hubby and 2 boys age 8 and 5. I went to WDW several times as a kid and finally returned as an adult in 2008. I'm planning my first adults only trip in May with my Sister-in-Law

OMG....that is so tempting and a distinct possibility! I know we are going to AK that morning and planning to head back at night. I definately want to check out the cave! Sounds so cool!

cant see me being there until the afternoon as i wont be checking out of our i-drive hotel till about eleven. however we are going straight to epcot after checking at pofq. leander will have a big smile and ill be wearing a redskins 75th anniversary hat, a wales rugby shirt with "BRAINS SA" on the front. red. arizona cardinals beige shorts and orange florida gators crocs.!!! if you see me , a big welsh bald goatee-wearing tourist. please come and say hello to me and leander. (orange crocs remember)

I'll be staying at POR and probably having breakfast in the POR foodcourt. So, if you see an Aussie family (you'll recognise us from by the bottle of Vegemite), come on over and say hi.

I will be there, because we can't get enough Cinco de Mayo celebration in California; we have to travel to WDW for it.

It will be me, my husband, our youngest son (age 29) and a family friend; this will be the start of our day of drinking around the world.

Bummer...we're not going to Epcot until later in the evening. The plan is to get Kids Nite Out for the kids adn the adults go alone to the tequila bar. Who knows...maybe some of you will still be there.

Yipee!! I can't wait!! I think this will be my first official DIS meet. I've met folks from other communities and have bumped into Dissers before! I'm excited to meet you all and especially there will be other kids along!

My crew:

Me, Stacey- 43yo SAHM and Disney nut. This will be my 30somethingth trip to WDW.

Annika-DD7. We will be celebrating Annika's 20th visit to the World!

Charlie-DS5. I think it's Charlie's 12th trip to WDW. They are veterans at a very young age!

Hmm, I may have to stop in for a little while. I'll be there solo, but am meeting a few friends from here on the DIS. I'll have to see what their plans are.

Yeah, I'm bummed too. We have an ADR at noon that day. A night at the tequila bar does sound tempting, though!!

Now remember Katie - Not too many margaritas - we have to be able to ride EE in the dark that night!!!!!! At the crack of dark we have to be online for EE. I don't want anybody going back to their hotel to take a nap and then not wake up again!

We were wanting to try and do Epcot for Cinco de Mayo anyway in case they have something special going on.

I'm Jodi, from Illinois. I was at WDW once as a young teen, and this will be our first family trip.

I am bummed we wont be able to make it to the cinco de mayo meet We have ADRs at Tony's at 1:00 that day...i am still hoping to make it over to epcot that day to go to mexico and have a margarita or two!! I am bummed that i wont be able to meet all of you!

HEY EVERYONE! Finally made it over here! I'm so excited that I extended my vacation...i will try VERY hard to make this meet! Katie, did you also say some of you are hitting up AK for EMH? We will probably be there! Can't wait to meet all of you!!
