Yes, I quite agree and yes!
Sosa Family Cigars is still open and there is also a Cigar Bar (run by the same operation by Raglan Rd) where you can enjoy a puff - a very pleasant spot to while away an hour or so - trust me!!
Whilst they are convenient, they aren't the cheapest around. We always pay a visit to The Corona Cigar Co at Sand Lake Road -
here which has a huge selection and is definitely cheaper than Sosa and they also do box discounts if you're thinking of bringing some back. They've also got a bar that permits smoking.
Also, there is Cigarz at Citywalk which is a retail operation and bar (on the upper level above the Cinema). I've found that they sometimes have some of the harder to find cigars, but do have a good general selection as well.
All three places have helpful staff if you want to have a browse around.
Not sure what your taste is but Cigar Aficionado have just announced their top 25 for the year and the
Casa Magna Colorado Robusto came top and is around $5 a pop so must be good.
We've bought quite a lot from all three and never been disappointed. Normally, both stores have copies of Cigar Aficionado lying around for inspiration.
Happy puffing
