Iv been on the one on the 593 (i think?!. the one nest to the volcano minnie golf) and palm parkway. both as good as each other. The staff and managers/owners on the 593 are very nice!
Even the 4 in Orlando are not the same. I was told only the one on Palm Parkway has the full salad bar. The others have a couple of premade, predressed salads. I left one of the other locations and drove to Palm Parkway.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was wondering which one had the salad bar. I am not a fan of the premade, predressed salads and prefer to make my own. My kids love this place so everytime we head to Disney that is our first meal there. I think we ate there 4 times last time we were there for a week. They never tire of it. Evidently neither do the locals, we were there at 10pm one night and the place was hopping. We have none in any of the surrounding states here since they are not licensed in MA. It is too bad, I think they would do well. I will have to find the Palm Parkway one and go there next time. We have been to the one across from the Sheraton Vistana and the one on 192. Both were good, I just want the salad bar.
I second that! Cici's is great prices for all you can eat, and yummmy food! They are really nice there, and i was known to get more than one serving, haha!
Is the one on Palm Parkway in the same plaza as a Hooters?
We went to Cici's last summer and I think it was the Palm Parkway one. The only thing I remember about the location is that is was near a Hooters. Some of the employees were outside talking to people.. and my son noticed it and made a comment!

Blecho! I don't care if it's cheap and all you can eat. There is only so much sub par cafeteria pizza I can stand! I thought stouffers french bread pizza was even better than CiCi's.
If memory serves me correctly, I believe it was a Days Inn in LBV. I do remember that it was next to a shopping plaza with a Crab Shack restaurant. We vowed to never stay off site again after that.

I certainly wouldn't judge off site by any hotel and especially a run down motel like that. In Orlando there are high end hotels that are far nicer than any on Disney property and there are many timeshares that offer 2, 3 even 4 or more bedrooms that are extremely high end and, again, outshine anything on property. While there may not be anything as bad as that Days Inn on property there are some that come close. Basing a choice to "never stay off site again" on one motel experience doesn't seem a wise choice.
It wasn't just the quality of the hotel that was the problem. It was that we felt like interlopers. The shuttle service to the parks was sporadic and we were too much out of the "magic". When we go Disney, we want to be immersed 24/7. I can stay at a 4 or 5* hotel here at home.
