Church services at WDW?

Once upon a time there was a Catholic mass at the Poly. I don't think that is offered any more. Where is the nearest/best place to go to mass on Sunday, and is there any Disney transportation to and from the mass?

The closest Catholic Mass is at the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. Follow signs to Downtown Disney, take Hotel Plaza Blvd to 535, make a right and just beyond I-4 make a left at the traffic light near Bahama Breeze. The shrine will be ahead on your right. They offer morning and evening mass.
Disney transportation does not go to the shrine, but you can take a taxi or drive yourself.

Transportation to Mary Queen of the Universe can also be provided by Mears Transportion for the cost of $10.00 per person. We use this service when we go home to BWV and is very easy to do. Just go to your resort front desk and they will call for you or you can do it yourself. They will arrive to pick you up at your resort about 1/2 before mass starts. We alway's go to the 7:30 am mass.

Mary Queen of the Universe is a beautiful shrine. We go to mass there every trip. Very easy to get to by car and they have a lot of cabs dropping off and picking up.

Church Services are no longer hosted at the Luau Cove. Disney suggests the following locations for places of worship.


Catholic

Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic Shrine
Location: 8300 Vineland Avenue
Contact: 407-239-6600
Directions: The shrine is located 2 1/2 miles northeast of Lake Buena Vista on the I-4 frontage road. Traveling south on SR 535 from Hotel Plaza Boulevard/Crossroads, drive to second traffic signal, turn left (Vineland Avenue) and continue approximately 1 mile.
Mass is held on:

Sunday: 7:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am, and 6pm
Saturday: 6pm
A priest hears confession daily.

Protestant

Celebration Presbyterian Church
Location: 635 Celebration Avenue
Contact: 407-566-1633
Directions: Take I-4 West to exit 64A which will take you to 192 (heading towards Kissimmee). Two traffic lights down, make a right turn onto Celebration Avenue. Follow Celebration Avenue into town and the church is located one quarter mile down the road on the right hand side.


Muslim

Islamic Center of Orlando
Locations: 11543 Ruby Lake Road
Contact: 407-238-2700
Directions: Take I-4 East to Lake Buena Vista exit. Turn left onto SR 535, continue on 535 and Mosque will be on the right hand side of the road (approximately 2 miles from I-4 exit).

Muslim Prayer Room and Fountain: There is a designated meditation area located inside the Morocco Museum at Epcot on the World Showcase. Small rugs are available for guest use. The hours are 11am - 9pm daily.

Celebration Jewish Congregation
