Visiting my bucket list: Prince Edward Island. Literally jaw-dropping beautiful. I want to move there and eat seafood all the time.

Yay! I'm so happy for you! PEI is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Living there is absolutely the dream. Especially in summer. I've said it before, but you definitely need to come back in the summer someday!

At Peggy's Cove Halifax: Such a beautiful little coastal town, it was super windy that day, but overall the weather we've experienced on the trip was much warmer than we expected!

Yay! beautiful quaint little spot. I'm not surprised about the weather. I don't think I've ever been here when it hasn't been windy, even in the middle of the summer.

Let me just say that it was colder those first few days in Florida than it was in Canada.

Well that's a story for the TR, but I don't think any of your PTR readers are on my TR, so yeah, pretty much had to leave it in the room. We think it was related to an incident that happened last month when our band played out at Disneyland. Not sure if you saw that post where the scooter lift failed on us while we were backstage at Disney.

I'll have to head back and read from that part on!

How are your December plans looking? We're planning on coming in late on the 15th and leaving on the 17th now, but are talking about adding a day to go to the Christmas Party...

Awesome! We'll be there from the 14-19th. We decided not to do the Christmas Party this time. Steve didn't really want to go, he'd rather use the money for a nice dinner, so we'll probably do something like that instead. I'm gonna list our plans out in my next post! But hope we get a chance to meet, I mean we do have about 3 days to do so, LOL!!

It's really a great spot! Halifax is also super nice in the summer, for when you come back for your Atlantic Canada summer tour someday! Halifax is just the right size for me, I think. It's a small, accessible, fairly friendly kind of city, but large enough that it has everything you need/want to do, and that everyone's not up in your business like in a small town.

It's really a great spot! Halifax is also super nice in the summer, for when you come back for your Atlantic Canada summer tour someday! Halifax is just the right size for me, I think. I'd love to visit for longer. Our tour guide on PEI said most people fly to Halifax then drive a few hours to PEI, it's much cheaper that way. Seems like a good plan when we're up there again!!

Dec 14th - Epcot and DHS hoping to meet up with @Raeven at night
Dec 15th - DHS then Epcot then heading to Disney Springs for dinner at Morimoto and watching The Last Jedi at the AMC at 10pm.
Dec 16th - Epcot, lunch at San Angel Inn then maybe a pool break if we feel like it. We have the Star Wars Galactic Nights event tonight at DHS from 7-12am.
Dec 17th - MK all day then dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse, then probably EMH at Epcot
Dec 18th - Morning at Disney Springs, we have the The Void Star Wars VR experience booked at 10am, then maybe we'll grab some lunch there then head to AK. We have dinner plans at Jiko but I'm thinking of cancelling or switching to Tiffins.
Dec 19th - Morning at AK and then was going to do lunch at Tiffins but now I want to go back to Epcot and just hang out there before our 7pm flight.

I hear ya, the points with the 5th night free is the best use of starpoints! I save all my starpoints so I can stay at Disney for (close to) free!
So looks like our best bets are Friday evening at Disney Springs - Our dinner should be around 2 hours which leaves us an hour before the movie starts at 10pm. Saturday at Epcot, and Sunday at MK! We'll probably have a few opportunities to meet up!

PTR Update: December Plans - We leave tomorrow!​

Sorry I've been neglecting this PTR. We only have one more trip this year with our APs, and that starts TOMORROW morning!
Here's a really rough outline of our trip. The parks are supposed to be pretty crowded - not yet holiday levels but more than we experienced last year during Dec (we went the week earlier).

Also, really hard in deciding what to pack! It's been really cold from all the weather reports and pictures from people there already (@Raeven!) but then it's supposed to warm up by the weekend and by the time we leave it will be 80 degrees again. So I guess...lots of layers? Haha.

Thursday Dec 14:
6am flight to Orlando
Uber to the Dolphin
Probably head to Epcot for a few hours to explore some of the holiday booths.
Friendship Boat over to DHS
Late lunch/early dinner at 50's Prime Time
FP+ for Indiana Jones, Star Tours, and Toy Story
Watch all the Sunset Seasons Greetings stuff
Fantasmic Dessert and VIP Viewing package
Head back to Dolphin for DISMeets with @Raeven and @amalone1013!

Friday Dec 15:
DHS in the morning
FP+ for VoTLM (not sure we will go to this or not), Star Tours, and Toy Story
The afternoon is pretty open, we may head to MK or rest at the Dolphin for a bit.
Around 5pm: We'll head to Disney Springs, I wanted to do some shopping
7pm: Omakase dinner at Morimoto Asia (they said this will be about 2 hours)
10pm: The Last Jedi at AMC Disney Springs!!

Saturday Dec 16:
Epcot this morning
Breakfast at Patisserie Les Halles probably
FP+ for Character Spot, Soarin' and LWTL
1:20pm lunch at San Angel Inn
Will probably walk around World Showcase a bit, then head back to the Dolphin and rest before:
STAR WARS Galactic Nights event at DHS!! Even info here.
It goes from 7pm-12am although we'll probably get there a little earlier.
We have the Galactic Sampler Tasting package booked where we get to try 5 items each of all the Star Wars themed treats as well as reserved seating for the panel on Galaxy's Edge. Exiting!
I hope this event is fun! We have some costumes and really looking forward to all the photo ops! I hope this event isn't too crowded.

Sunday Dec 17:
MK today!
Will probably grab breakfast at Gaston's tavern or Sleepy Hollow for the nutella fruit sandwich.
FP+ for Tomorrowland Speedway, 7DMT, PoTC
Lunch probably at my favorite Columbia Harbor House
Will probably see what else we can ride using FP. I don't know how crowded MK will be but it probably will be more than we would like.
Dinner 7pm at Yachtsman Steakhouse
Followed by EMH at Epcot! I love EMH at Epcot!

Monday Dec 18: Steve's Bday
We'll bus or Uber it to Disney Springs. If we have time we will grab breakfast at EoS or WPE before our 10am appt for:
The Void Star Wars Secrets of the Empire VR Adventure - a virtual reality experience. This sounds pretty cool although I've never done anything like this before!
If we didn't eat before then maybe we'll grab a d-luxe burger or something.
Then we'll uber it to AK!
We have FP+ for: Safari, Adventurer's Outpost, and FoP!
Then I managed to just recently score a 4:10pm ADR at...'OHANA!! Our favorite! Birthday boy was happy. We'll have to run out of AK after FoP as our FP is at 3pm so we'll be cutting it close.
After dinner we'll head to MK - I've heard the park will be crowded as it's one of the few times that HEA is showing that week due to the Christmas parties. So we'll maybe FP a few rides and maybe an hour before HEA we will find a spot in the hub.
Not sure how late we will stay but think MK opens till 11pm.

Tuesday Dec 19th: Last day!
Today we begin with breakfast at Cape May Cafe - not sure I'll keep this but we don't really have any character meals on this trip. We may just sleep in.
Then it's back to AK for more fun!
FP+ for Safari, FoP and Finding Nemo (never seen this before)
And finally, our last meal at...where else...Tiffins!
Our lunch is at 2pm so most likely we'll have to head out after, back to the Dolphin, pick up our bags, and leave for the airport for our 7pm flight out

Well that marks our last trip for the year. This is our 7th trip in 2017 and 8th trip overall using our Annual Passes. I think we got our money's worth.

Finding Nemo (never seen this before)

I hope it's great and you enjoy it! This used to be hands down my favourite non-nighttime show at Disney. Then I started hearing people saying it was really bad, and when we went back in August and saw it, a lot of the performers seemed to be new (yes, I'd seen it enough times to recognize the actors! haha) and the quality wasn't as good as it used to be. But it seems like it was getting better than some of the bad reviews I'd heard, so maybe they're just still learning and getting into the groove, and by now they will have gotten everything figured out! I hope so, because we're giving it another chance when we go in a couple of weeks if we can fit it in.

I had such an amazing year with all things Disney especially meeting all my DISBoard friends!

What an amazing year it's been for you guys! We really enjoyed meeting you on our trip! Here's to many more exciting years of travelling to come, both to Disney and elsewhere!
