Chump Change for a Golf Cart

We leave for our first trip to the Fort in less than two weeks and are staying in a cabin. Most info shared had suggested to me that a golf cart would make getting around the Fort easy and fun. Selling my husband on the idea of adding another 300.00 to our trip budget took a bit of convincing. We started saving all our change from last fall until now and we have enough to pay for a cart for each day of our stay. Just some inspiration for those deciding on renting a cart or not!

We save change all year every year.....it really adds up quick, and is a tremendous help on any vacation. Some people have a vacation fund at the bank...we have a big 5gal water bottle filled with coins in our dining room!!!! TomAto...TomAHto

Matt has a giant Crayola crayon bank, and we put all our change and singles in there (what a waste of singles huh Rog) and use that for our disney trips. Last time it was 16 months and added up to $650

I actually will break a bill for the change to put it in the piggy bank. Even if I have the right amount of change in my pocket.

I'm going to start saving for july!

We rented a cart this weekend and the little kids across the way kept asking my kids why they always wanted to ride around (ofcourse ther dad had an awesome cart). My kids tried to play it cool. LOL we never get a cart and we all loved it . The cart was me stimulating the Economy

I agree with your theory its our patriotic duty to rent a golf cart

I put back a certain amount every month for Disney too- it works great.

You did the right thing. A golf cart is a must have at FW. Once I tried one I couldn't ever camp without it again.

We stayed in April 07, I was 19 weeks pregnant. We did not rent a cart and dh is still hearing about it. We go again in Oct and we've reserved a cart.

i keep looking for one nearby to buy but have already got one reserved for our Dec. trip. we loved it so much we are making it a tradition! I'm using my money from "Uncle Sam" to pay for gas so the cart won't be a burden at all from our Disney Pockets!!!!

I have bought 2 gas yamaha carts off of craigslist for half of what you would pay at any dealership but they did need a little work.
