Chucke Cheese

In addition to Chuckie Cheese, I have tokens, points and tickets for various arcades and amusement areas. Some on boardwalks, some off, and some for places no longer around!

A while back, when they changed over to the card system, they were accepting the old tokens and they would credit a swipe card if you traded them in.

I found about 50 tokens for chuckecheese. My kids are in High school. I also found out they don't use tokens any more. I can't even give them away. :rotfl2:
Leftover tokens, time spent in ChuckeCheese that you will never get back...:rotfl2:

You have to do something nice for yourself this week. Starbucks or a lunch out, maybe?
You've earned it. ::yes::

Just a thought have you tried going to Chuck e Cheese and seeing if you can exchange them for either their cash value or whatever they currently use for the games?

No, I just figure I would give them to a friend with a young son. Maybe I will go and see if I can trade them in.

Awhile back I found 4 dollar tokens for a casino north of me. I keep forgetting to take them back the few times we go to that place. I have no clue if they would honor them since all machines are paper.

My Chuck E Cheese still uses tokens so you can imagine how old (and grimy) the games are. If it makes you feel better, OP, 50 tokens would be worth $15-$20 so if your friend’s son can’t make use of them, you won’t be losing that much money.

FYI, I just had the most generous portion of unusually fresh fruit as a side at Chuck E Cheese. My kid’s not that into fries. I thought it was a joke. It was beautiful.
And delicious.
And better than anything I’d been served in any restaurant in years. At Chuck E Cheese. Who would believe me? I didn’t tell anyone until just now.
Go for the games, stay for the glorious bounty of beautiful delicious fruit. 😛😝

We went to Chuck E Cheese's yesterday for our son's 2nd birthday. It was the first time I've been in one for around 20 years or so. It did seem a lot different with the game cards instead of the tokens. One of the games is one where you shoot a token into buckets with different numbers of tickets on them. You swiped the game card, and it gave you a token to play with. So at least I had some nostalgic factor in seeing an old Chuck E Cheese token!

You might be able to get a handful of tootsie rolls.

I noticed a single Tootsie Roll cost 100 tickets!

Tokens are actually quite valuable to old Showbiz Pizza and Pizza Time Theatre fans. just put em up on ebay, for about 5 dollars each, and watch em sell!

Haha when my kids were little I don’t even think they knew Chuck E Cheese served pizza! At that time they had a great salad bar. I’d order the salad bar and load up a plate full of fruits and veggies for them…once they got to elementary school and started getting invited to birthday parties then they knew about the pizza!
