On our trip to Orlando we are planing a stop at chuck e cheese for the first time as a surprise birthday party for my DD. We have 5 kids including my DD coming on our trip so plenty of kids just we don't know what time we will arrive at the place to book a party. Can I buy a cake there ,if so how much? I don't know how much cupcakes would withstand a 12 hour drive in June!

yes you can buy a cake there they are small but cute vanilla with white icing . not sure how much.

Ours has small chocolate and white cakes both. They run between 13-17.00. Over priced, but convenient.

I have also seen people bring cakes into Chuck E Cheese for bdays. So you might be able to pick up a cake on the way there. You may want to call ahead about the cake...

Thank you! Hopefully it goes smoothly:) kids get extra energy out and ready for the rest of the trip!

Ok, I know you didn't ask about this, but i have to say based on the low quality of the chuck e cheeses I've been in over the last few years, I couldn't imagine spending money to take kids there, especially during an Orlando trip! I remember them being nice when I was a kid, but the one near my house now is gross! I think you'd be better off with a pizza pool party at your hotel or a night of mini golf (Disney or nearby) than a chuck e cheese party.

We frequently take our 2 & 3 year old there, ours have remodeled in the last year and are very nice again.

Same here, ours is newly remodeled and is very nice, clean and well-run. It's insanely crowded on weekend afternoons but any other time is fine.
We visit often.
OP, a small round cake is about $10 in chocolate or vanilla and would easily feed the 5 kids plus a little extra. They also sell a larger rectangular cake for about $15. They've always given us free candles and a match to light them if we haven't brought our own. You can also buy all their party stuff--balloons, party hats, goodie bags--a la carte. No need to RSVP for any of these things.

Sign up for their coupons ahead of time. You don't want to go without a coupon. You can use more than one coupon in a visit.

Thank you so much for all of the help you guys have given. I know she will ahve blast and now I don'y have to worry about planning so will I .

Check out some coupons before you go. There are tons on line. I took DS5 and his best friend this week and got a great deal. I had a coupon for 100 tokens for 25.00 and get a large pizza free. Those two boys played for hours with the tokens. The pizza there is fine....not great or even really good, but fine. Drinks are free refills and you can get them as you come in to have the whole time you are there. If you have kids that do not drink soda, stick some juice boxes in your bag...they were 1.89 EACH. Friend did not drink soda and they were hot and thirsty. Our local place is VERY clean. My boys had white socks on and they kicked off shoes to climb as soon as we got there, never put them back on and there socks were VERY clean when we left. Amazing. Machines were spotless and all if good order. They also have a very fresh yummy salad bar.

It think its a great idea to have a party focus on your child instead of WDW.
