You captured the resorts beautifully. They do such a nice job with the holiday decorations, don't they?

I had the same reaction regarding the real towels when I went in the Beach Club restroom for the first time!!

Wow- that is quite a line waiting to get into Mousefest. I was switching resorts that day, I think and had a late start. Still so sad they aren't doing Mousefest this year. But I am looking forward to the Adventurers Club weekend!

Isn't Art a total beam of sunshine? I got to talk with him on that trip too, and I floated around afterwards because his spirit is so amazing.
I didn't get over to the Boardwalk so especially appreciate seeing the decorations there. I know you'll get to stay there someday!
I was late to the MegaMouse Meet so am really impressed by that line - wow!

Yay! I got caught up! I hate it when I get so behind.

I can't wait to hear about the meet - I've wanted to go to Mousefest (and am currently in cahoots with my SIL to convince the hubbies to go in two years during December to celebrate my - hopefully - completed Master's Degree). I really hope they start having them again. I have to tell you that I laughed out loud when I read the whole interaction about meeting Cindy, and then Chuck's idea for how to get him back again. I guess I should be glad that, when we went in 2005, we went to breakfast and not dinner!

Hope you're doing well - can't wait for more!

It's hard to believe it was that cold, stting here in the 80 degree heat. It was such a beautiful day, though. We had such fun going through the resorts. I'll miss it this year.

Day Four Part Four

Once they opened the doors, we went into a large ballroom with booths all the way around. I tried to take a picture of them all so you could get the full MegaMouse Meet experience.

First up All Star Vacation Homes. Chuck and I are thinking of trying one in the future so we can bring along more family.

Next was Ricky Brigante from the Inside the Magic Podcast and Orlando Acctractions Magazine. He has some great video content on his site.

The next booth belonged to our very favorite travel agency, The Mouse For Less! They had a wheel you could spin to win different prizes. They got it from Ebay!

Next was Destinations in Florida, another travel agency. They were having a great time.

Around the corner was the DIS table. It was very crowded.

On the other side of the DIS table was a lovely table of goodies.

Yummy, huh? We had to have sustenance ‘cause we aren’t even half way around the room.

The Mousefest looks like a lot of fun. How nice would it be to be among those who share your same excitement for Disney! I feel like a psycho in my home. I'm glad that I found the DISboards so that I know I'm not alone in my love of Disney World!!!

49 days and we will be back in WDW! I can't wait!! In fact, after our big moring shopping and working in the yard, we are watching our tape of WDW specials. WDW Unwrapped is on now and it is making me so hungry!

It's a big Disney year for us! We have a trip in June, July, September and next January.

I'll have to PM you about the trip report situation.

Day Four Part Five

In the next corner was Scoot Orlando.

By this time I wasn’t quite as good at taking pictures of all the tables. We were very excited about getting our books signed.

Steve Barrett with Em’s very worn third copy of Hidden Mickeys.

Dave Marx with my tenth anniversary edition of the Passporter (bought especially for this trip!)

I forgot to mention that Chuck had packed a backpack with every Disney book in our possession. We didn’t know who we might see!

Another busy table: Lou Mongello’s WDW Radio Show!

Chuck got me a page a day trivia calendar and we both got tshirts! Score!!

Tagrel.com had a table. They are friendly people!

I think this was the same table even though it was Magic Meets.

In the corner, MEI and Mousefan Travel were giving away trips, but we didn’t win one.

The WDW Today guys had a table.

All Ears net had a table but it was so busy, I could only get this shot.

They also had Lee Cockrell at his own table siging his book, Creating Magic. Yep, we had that one with us too!

In the last corner, there was a table where you could buy Disney books. They had some great ones! That is David Koenig, author of Realityland. (His book was in our bag, too.)

And you could buy Mousefest tshirts as well. I regret not getting one now.

The last booth was Orlando Stroller rentals.

We made it all the way ‘round!!

In the middle, there were a few tables, but they were always full.
