wondering if anyone has eaten there lately. i looked it up and it shows pricing from 35.95 to 59.95. we were there in may and i was sure it was only 35.95. we are going back in a couple weeks, have the prices changed?

If you're looking on disneyworld.com, that just shows a range for the average cost, and other restaurants that are around the same average cost will show that $36-$59 range. If you look on allears.net, that will give you a more accurate price for each meal (updated Aug 11).

My children and grandchildren went last year. Not impressed with the food or service. They usually are easy to please but said they will not return. I was sorry I suggested it.

i myself do not understand why everyone loves it. i think its just okay, and a bit pricey for it, again imo. now my children on the other hand, love it and always want to go. my children are in their 30's. i just don't get it.....of course dh and i are the ones who always pick up the bill, could be why its so popular

I 2nd this, Not a fan Of the Palace either or it's service, and the food is cold a bad.

Crystal Palace is our "first night at the world" tradition. I think the food is pretty good and I just LOVE the building - it is so beautiful. Pooh and friends aren't my favorite Disney characters, but they are still fun to get your picture taken with.

We really like CP. We go there once every tip. Is it over priced, yes. But so is every dining spot at WDW, with the exception of Cosmic Rays

We go there every trip. Our kids (now adults) and our grandkids (teenagers) love going here. We enjoy the food, atmosphere, and character interaction. This is always our best interaction with characters - so easy to get many pictures with all the characters.

Not sure on the price as we do DxDDP always and it's taken care of - but we adore the CP! We eat breakfast there every trip and love it - it's delish, character interaction is great, and it's nice to get into MK before most everyone else!

I agree, it is a beautiful building. The food is pretty standard for a buffet. IMHO, the only buffet that stands out as anything special is Boma.

We don't bother with CP anymore now that our kids are two old to be very interested in characters. I would rather hop on the monorail and go to Kona Cafe on an MK night.

i liked boma less than cp. thats just me, to spicy. now, tell me more about the monorail, kona cafe and mk night? this sounds interesting. never been to kona cafe.

I would NOT recommend Crystal Palace. This was the worst Disney dining experience I have had in over twenty years of going to WDW yearly.

We were a party of seven (two first timers, a mom and a 7 year old) and ate lunch there last May. Even though we had reservations, we still had to stand outside in the 90+ degree heat for about a half hour. Once we got inside to eat, it took over two hours for the four characters to come to our table. For the first timers, two hours was way too long to wait for characters, so they left (after seeing two characters in about an hour) to go enjoy other areas of the MK.

In addition, the food was not that good - lots of carbs, tough steak from the carving station, etc.

I spoke to a manager who basically could have cared less. He and other CMs there said it takes about 1.5 -1.75 hours to see all four characters. I said that was ridiculous considering how many people want to eat there (based on how many other guests were waiting outside). Also, for someone who has a limited amount of time to visit the parks, taking two hours for lunch is way too long for children and for adults.
