I see that there are 3 slides within it wis there one that is easiest out of them all, which one? Why?

My Ds8 and I both like water, but ere just starting to get into the slides :thumbsup2

None of them are "easier" than the others. They aren't scary at all however. One thing that I feel I should remind you, make sure you keep your butt on the tube, or you will smack your tush on some of the dips.

Crush n Gusher is a blast, and we've ridden all three tubes, but none seemed tamer than any other.

I judged that all three were about the same in intensity. At first I thought one was more intense but later I found out that it boards from the same level as the others so the total drop had to be the same.

If the slopes are gentler (which means a longer overall run) the ride will seem more tame.

SimonV and I did a 'comparision' when Crush 'n Gusher first opened (with several rides on each, taking notes, and again each time we have visited) and we DID find a difference in the slides.

If you are standing facing the entry to the 3 queues, the queue to the extreme left is the 'easier' slide, the middle queue tends to throw the back rider over the front rider's head at splashdown, and the one on the right is the whizziest (but also usually has the shorter line).

Now, bear in mind that order is NOT the order you find yourself in at splashdown. The slides intertwine, so don't use the slide exits as your reference to which is the easiest.

Having said all this, it's still a dynamic ride. Great fun, but none of the 3 slides is exactly 'tame'.

I would avoid the Coconut Crusher slide. I went on it in the three person tube, I was sitting in the front, and when we hit the water in the pool at the end, I flew off the tube. I was fine, but it took me by surprise. That didn't happen to me on the other two. I don't know if we were just going to fast or what happened, but it was still a lot of fun.

According to the CMs we asked one is the fastest, one has the most curves, and one has the steepest drops, I can't remember which is which but we asked the guards at the top. The tip about your butt is really true- keep you bottom on the tube or it can really hurt at times.

I agree with the "keep your butt up" tip. The CM told us that, then, a split second later, we were off. I thought he only meant at the beginning. I will never forget to keep my butt up again.

Keep your head up too! Poor DH let his head fall back and whacked it pretty good on a drop. Now he won't ride them at all, thinks they are evil, etc. :sad2:

Well...probably not. You don't go under water at any time on the slide, but you might go under for a moment at splashdown. But that applies to ALL the tube and body slides, not just C'nG.

Sometimes it seems your underwater when you hit the peaks the spray is so forceful.

But if you hold on and lean back at splashdown you should be fine and stay in the tube

Do you get drenched?

You should try it! It's so much fun. I think that the one on the left is the tamest, the middle is the craziest, and the one of the right is somewhere in between.

We rode all 3 on our recent visit. Keep your bottom up as the other posters stated! I think all 3 are pretty much the same, none of them are on the mild side. They are great fun!

I loved all three of the slides.

There was one slide that did not allow the three person tube to go down it this summer. I don't know if that has changed or not.

What does this mean, keep your butt up???

Im trying to imagine keeping my butt up - and Im coming up with some odd thoughts... :lmao:

Like keep my butt up, where???

Keeping your butt up means when you sit in the tube, instead of letting your butt go all the way out the botton, just hold it up a little. This helps keep the rollers from rubbing it raw and helps keep you from getting a water wedgie!

I think it's the middle slide that has the double drop. I wasn't expecting that, and boy did it surprise me! The other two I thought were basically the same. They are all pretty darn fast, though!!!
